My name is Spot and I've got lots of those but just one brown one beside my left eye!! I'm a goofball of a youngster who has never met a stranger but is looking for the opportunity to find my bestie. I'm about 8 months, born in December of 2023. I wants to find a loving forever home where I can have more time with my humans or even a doggy sibling. A home where my people are around more, maybe working from home, would be ideal. I'm not fond of being by myself for too long! I'm good with kids and other dogs but other animals are unknown. I knows basic commands like sit, stay, down, leave it, drop it, and I stops and waits to hear the keyword “cross” before crossing the street when on a loose leash walk. And my walks are the highlight of my day! I'm pretty chill when hanging out with my person but am playful when you're ready. Nola is a 6 year old Beagle mix. While we are not sure how she would do with cats, we do know she can be choosey with her dog friends. So, if you have another dog at home please bring them in for a meet and greet. Nola is not a fan of children and does not have the patience for them. She also has shown some resource guarding when around children. She does know basic commands and was house broken when she came to us, but may need a refresher due to being in a shelter setting. Beautiful BECCA is big fun in a small package. She's a lively little girl, 2 years old and fully grown at just 22 pounds. She's sweet, friendly and active. With her stunning brown eyes and cheerful disposition, Becca will charm the treats right out of you. Becca appears to be a beagle/jack russell terrier-type mix. Her legs are spring-loaded like a JRT, this girl can JUMP. She just loves to play, loves her toys and treats and people. She's good with other dogs and uninterested in kitties. Becca needs a home with another playful dog, without a playmate she will likely get bored and into some mischief. She will need a securely fenced yard OR she will need to be taken out regularly for leashed walks. Zeke (and Stitch) - These two have been the best of friends since I picked them up from pet wow on the same day. I don't think they knew each other before they came to SAAP, but they have grown very close over the last couple of months. They were both set to be euthanized in February, and are now living the life of luxury in a house! They aren't a bonded pair and don't have to go to the same home, but would probably love to do so. They would be a great fit for anyone looking for two dogs. They are both crate trained and house broken. They were both very very skinny when they came to SAAP, and Zeke has gained weight easily and quickly. Stitch has a hard time keeping weight on because he's very very active and seemingly has a very high metabolism. They're both playful, energetic, gentle, and super sweet. They would love a house with a fenced-in yard. They're great with kids and cats. They're still working on manners, but they are just a little jumpy at times.
