River is a very outgoing girl that is always ready to meet new friends. She loves people and getting treats. She sits nicely and waits patiently for the treat to be given. She walks well on a leash and is a great hiking buddy! She is spayed, vaccinated and ready for her new family to adopt her! The shelter can be reached at 937-498-7201 to schedule a time to meet. Or please feel free to come in during business hours. The shelter is open Monday-Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-12. Open kennel hours are Monday-Friday 12-4 and Saturday by appointment. Buddy was adopted around October by my elderly father-in-law to be an emotional support animal. My father-in-law is no longer able to care for Buddy. The shelter he was in said he was approximately 5 years old. Buddy is a loving dog who wants to sit on your lap or beside you in your chair. He also loves to play with his toys. Buddy is currently in a home with 2 large dogs. While he gets along with them very well he would be great as a single dog so he could get all the attention and toys. He plays fetch but forgets to bring the ball back. Buddy is neutered, housebroken, and we have been working with him on basis training (sit when you get a treat, wait to jump in the chair until you are given permission, etc.)

JJack is a 5-month-old Beagle hound mixed puppy. He is about 15-20 pounds currently and our best guess he won't get bigger than 30 lbs at maturity. Only a DNA test can confirm his exact mix! Our little boy is an adventurer and the first for everything. He always seems to be on the move, checking everything out. He likes attention, belly rubs, treats, and knows no strangers. Oh yes, he loooves tennis balls. Jack has started leash and potty training and is doing well. He even knows his name and he knows the command 'no'. He even 'sits pretty' when presented with a tasty treat. He does well with other dogs and loves to play with toys. This boy will keep you laughing as he is all puppy! He attended a puppy yoga class and had a blast. He even nabbed some sunglasses and made a run for it! Much hilarity ensued. Jack was a fun boy at his photo session and was a great model for his Yoda costume. What an adorable pup. He has not been cat tested as foster does not have cats. Meet Pongo, a cute 6 month old 18 lb puppy . We don't really know his breed, but our best guess is some kind of beagle mix. We don't think he'll get much bigger but who knows? He looks like a lab with that black coloring and white chest, but at that size he could have some chihuhua too! It's up to his future family to be surprised with a DNA test.His foster says Pongo is very sweet and on his way to being fully housebroken! Our boy has been to two events at Pets Stores and did very well. He is a bit shy at first, but with the proper introductions he is cute and playful. If you want an affectionate dog, meet Auggie, a super sweet 4 mo old pup who just wants love.Our Auggie had a rough start to life. He came to Canine Collective via a rescuer that found him in texas on a busy highway running for his life. He was lucky and was taken to safety quickly. Auggie is a handsome dude, especially those eyes. We dont know for sure his breed but we'll call him a beagle mix. He is surely 100% loverboy.Auggie understandably is abit skittish from all his 'adventures' but responds very well to soft words and belly rubs. He is so eager for love and is a 'leaner', gaining comfort from contact with a human. He is a real lover. Just watch the video in his profile and you will see how affectionate he really is, even with volunteers he just met. Auggie even attended a Pets store event with another pup and did great. He rode well in the car snd sucked up every bit of attention from both adults and kids.
