Story
Sparkly is a slightly taller girl and may have a little bit of hound in her. She had to be trapped and is timid to start. Some time and patience will help with that. She was dumped in a rural area in the South. She is around 2 yrs of age.  Adoption fee is $325 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc..                        We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back.      Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years therefore beagles under 3 years of age will not be adopted to anyone over the age of 62 For more information or to submit an adoption application, please visit our website at http://www.southernnevadabeaglerescue.com . Story
Sushi is a little compact beagle that is about 35 lbs and does need to keep on a diet to help her lose some weight for overall longevity and health. She found herself in a shelter and even though she was chipped, an owner never came for her. She appeared to be neglected with her extremely long nails that curled around her pad. She was so happy to be out of the shelter that she sang and sang all the way home! She is a sweet @ 7 yr old female beagle who was afraid in the shelter and displayed signs of fear but as soon as she got out of there, she seemed much better already. Now she needs a forever home to see her through the years.  Adoption fee is $275 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. Twilight is a sweet beagle. She is on the calmer side although she does like to play with others and toys. She does really well playing with the puppies.  She can so far be a picky eater which is very unlike a beagle. She is super easy. Story
Popper was with us many years ago as an owner surrendered him when they felt they had no time for him. He was adopted. His owner recently was found dead and Popper was taken to the local shelter. Unfortunately, they would not let us take him until he was released from a 10 day hold. We got him out of the shelter and noticed he has gained a lot of weight and is now morbidly obese and needs to drop at least 15 pounds. He was 21 lbs when with us previously. His nails were extremely long as well. Popper entered the rescue and was greeted by many dogs. He has no issues with the other dogs. He does not know the dog door but will learn and he seems to enjoy getting in the kiddie pools. He also likes toys.  Now he needs a family. He is approximately around 10 yrs now.  Adoption fee is $150 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. Story
Pokey is a sweet boy. We believe he is mixed with Dachshund and maybe Jack Russell. He is approximately 4-5 years of age. He had an owner. We do not know the circumstances, but apparently they were living in a car. Unfortunately the police were called to the car over a domestic violence issue. The dogs ended up in the shelter where no one ever came back for them. One was adopted and we were asked to take Pokey. He is still learning a dog door but is housetrained otherwise. He is calm and relatively quiet. He is still adjusting but seems like a calm and easy going. He gets along with the other dogs just fine.   Adoption fee is $300 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. 6 yr old Mia is a petite red and white girl. She is about 16 lbs. We pulled her out of our local shelter. It appears she may have had babies recently. Her nails were so very long.
