6 yr old Mia is a petite red and white girl. She is about 16 lbs. We pulled her out of our local shelter. It appears she may have had babies recently. Her nails were so very long. She seems like a sweet dog and gets along with others. Now she just needs a home of her own. Adoption fee is $300 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc.. We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back. Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years therefore beagles under 3 years of age will not be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. Pokey is a sweet boy. We believe he is mixed with Dachshund and maybe Jack Russell. He is approximately 4-5 years of age. He had an owner. We do not know the circumstances, but apparently they were living in a car. Unfortunately the police were called to the car over a domestic violence issue. The dogs ended up in the shelter where no one ever came back for them. One was adopted and we were asked to take Pokey. He is still learning a dog door but is housetrained otherwise. He is calm and relatively quiet. He is still adjusting but seems like a calm and easy going. He gets along with the other dogs just fine. Hi there! We're looking to re-home our 9 year old beagle, Tyson. We are looking for a loving home that will welcome him in and give him all the love and attention he deserves! We got Tyson when he was only 3 months old and have made so many wonderful memories with him. He is a very sweet and loving animal and LOVES being outside, sunbathing, and cuddling.💙🐶 Our lives have become very chaotic due to our growing family, and we realize Tyson isn't getting the attention and love he deserves. We're sad to make this choice, but glad he has a chance to live somewhere he will be happier. Tyson is such a wonderful dog!! Aaron was a rescue from a sanctuary in California. We’ve had him for nine years, along with a companion who died last year and has been lonely ever since. He has lots of energy and with thrive in an active household period he seems shy, but once you get to know him, he’s very friendly and loving. Wherever he came from prior to us, there are definitely some trauma because he is kind of skittish, but he does not have an aggressive bone in his body.
