Story
Nutter Butter is a young 2 yr male. We pulled him out of the shelter. He is young and active and likes attention. He likes to play and likes toys. He is on the thin side but he loves food so a few more pounds should not be hard to achieve. He does need some basic training and needs to learn some manners.   Adoption fee is 400 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped and many have received further treatment for such conditions as lump removal, severe ear infections, dental cleanings, bloodwork, leg injuries, etc..                        We do out of state adoptions but require a submitted application, a home visit (sometimes we cannot get this done and then we can not adopt), and the adopter must come to Las Vegas to meet the potential dog(s), possibly adopt, and then drive the dog back.      Disclaimer: The SNBRF has the right to deny applications based on our adoption policies established for the consideration of the health, safety, and well-being of the dog. Beagles can have a lifespan of 15-18 years therefore beagles under 3 years of age will not be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. For more information or to submit an adoption application, please visit our website at http://www.southernnevadabeaglerescue.com . We are also on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/SouthernNevadaBeagleRescueFoundation . Come meet and play with our available dogs at Las Vegas area dog parks. Times and locations can be found at http://www.meetup.com/beagles-207/ . Contact us or check our Facebook updates ahead of time if you are interested in meeting a particular dog. All our dogs are in foster homes so not all are available to attend all our park meetups. Our meetup group playdates allow you to socialize your beagle with his/her own breed at dog parks with large fenced areas where the beagles can run and play off-leash. Beagle enthusiasts, come bay with us..... AROOOOOOOOOOOO!  February 6, 2025, 7:00 pm

Story
Ozwald is a 3 and half year blue beagle. He is gorgeous. He is playful. He likes to play with other dogs and he loves toys and will play with them by himself. He gets along with dogs and children of all ages, although we always caution parents to teach children how to be treat dogs and be around them properly. He uses a dog door and sleeps all night long He is also great in the car. Ozzie was surrendered by a family. We were told he is an escape artist so a family conscience of exits would work best. The family had Ozzie since he was two and half months old. He has alopecia and apparently has always had this. Much of his fur on his back and around is thinned or missing. We were told the veterinarian tried multiple things for this but nothing seemed to help. It does not seem to bother him and we will also be trying some skin supplements. With his active nature, he would probably benefit from a family that is active or at least another active dog for him to play with. Juicy is a timid 2 yr red beagle girl. She is on the chunky side and needs to lose a few pounds. Juicy is timid to start and has trust issues. If you go slow, she will come along. Unfortunately she is food motivated and moves along faster with treats but she cannot afford to gain more weight.   Adoption fee is $400 which helps cover all of the medical for all of the dogs in the rescue.
