Hi! I am Belle! Look at how cute I am! I was a momma in Alabama and am getting used to my new surroundings here in Minnesota. I might be shy at first with new people, but once I am comfortable, I love to cuddle and I have been told that I am a very sweet girl. I love going for walks and sniffing all the smells outside. I don’t like the crate yet, but my foster is helping me get used to it. ABOUT ME “Joy” My name is Joy and am a Southern Bell from Alabama. I am a Beagle mix about 2 years old and reached my full size of 25 lbs. My personality is very sweet, happy and fun. I really like going for walks (all the smells out there), chewing on chew toys and running in the fenced backyard. I am very playful and like to do wind sprints before snuggling under blankets and playing with my toys. I am looking for a family to love and share my adventurous personality with. It takes a few minutes to get used to men, but after seeing I am safe… I am good to go!! Let me tell you what I am good at: I sleep in my kennel overnight, I love going on adventures, I love playing and I love snuggling! I would do great in a family with another playful dog and would do fine with older kids who like to play and take walks. Hi! I'm Flick! I am from Alabama. From his foster: I have been fostering Flick for over a month. He is a gem. We call him our little Velcro boy. He has the biggest heart. You can see kindness in his eyes. He loves to cuddle up in your arms no matter where you are. Hes a snuggle bug. He loves his kennel. He is treat motivated and goes potty outside - he is learning how to tell us but for now we just take him out and it works great. A fenced yard would be perfect for him. He's a great walker however he does love to stop occasionally to see what he might be able chase- we are working on that. He is a pleaser. He is heartworm positive so we are currently going through the treatment. You learn a lot about the spirit - this is not easy for him but what a trooper he is. Somehow I know he understands the future is bright for him when we get past this. And he knows he's safe and well cared for. Flick will make a wonderful loving companion and friend. You should meet him! Flick could benefit from additional training when it comes to being a good walker (no chasing) and coming when his name is called. Hes getting better and better. When not preoccupied he is really fun to walk with. I think he would prefer to be the only dog in the house but he is gentle and kind to our little foster Lou who is a small breed puppy. Flick is a really great little buddy.
