You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. //   Find our applications at www.midwestanimalrescue.orgAdoption Fee $400 plus taxHenlo hoomans! I am Austin! I am a good beagle but I still have a few issues I’m working through with my foster pawpa and his fur fren. I came from da streets and so am still a timid boy and am slow to trust, but I want to it just takes time. I woof being outside and running around wif my fluffy fren and getting da zoomies out, but getting back in da house can sometimes be tricky as da outside is awesome! I woof all da treatos, but I especially woof da cheesy curds from Culver’s. I enjoy walkies, but I like to have the time to get the sniffs in so they sometimes take a while.    Some of my issues, besides being timid, are I can be a little vocal, but no more than you’d expect from a regal beagle like myself and I am having some issue with understanding that potty is to be always done outside, but da foster hooman and I are working on this. I’m also a bit of a chewer, so make sure I have chews to help wif my nervous chewing so I don’t go after your socks, or toys, or cables, or anything else I can get my teefs on I’m not supposed to have.     Won’t you give me a good, trusting home so I can show da world what an awesome boy I can be?Austin will require another confidant dog in his adoptive home If you have previously applied with us please email adoptionatmars@gmail.com to reactivate your application with new interest. All fees are subject to MN sales tax and a processing fee at the time of adoption. Story
Hi, my name is Mason and I am a beagle mix born 1/20/23. Right now I live with my foster mom, my friend, the resident dog and a cat. I love my foster mom but my favorite person is a 12 yr old boy, whose name is Mason also. He comes to visit a lot and I give him all the love! I think I’d like to have kids live with me in my new home, we could run and play together. I do jump when excited so little ones might be a bit overwhelmed by me. Speaking of jumping, I am an amazing jumper. My foster mom thinks I could be trained for agility contests, cause I run fast, like to jump and she says I’m wiry. I’m not much of a ball chaser, but I will fetch a stick once in a while. My favorite outdoor activity is running and wrestling with my furry friend.  We also go on lots of walks, although I am not a leash fan, it hinders my exploring and smelling instincts. I will learn to accept it if that’s what you want me to do. I really do not like to be in a kennel, in fact I will find a way out one way or another. My foster mom lets me roam while she’s away and I’ve never chewed anything I’m not supposed to. I’m fully potty trained. I love food and treats, so much so that I’ve been known to counter surf if there is food where I can reach. I’m getting better about not doing it though. I love to go on car rides, but my tummy doesn’t. I have to take some pills before we go and then I’m good. I am very timid when I first meet someone and I will bark at you, but if you just give me a few minutes I’ll start warming up. I like to think I’m a fun little guy to have around and I’ve made my foster mom laugh lots at my goofy antics. Why don’t we meet and see if maybe we might have a love connection and you’ll want to take me home with you!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $525.00 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 8, 2024, 10:25 pm

Story
Meet Riley!Riley is a 7-year-old, 35-pound Beagle with a heart full of love and a calm, sweet demeanor. This gentle girl is quiet and low-key, making her the perfect companion for a peaceful home. Riley adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She was lovingly cared for by her elderly owner, who had to surrender her due to a change in living situation.Riley seems to be house trained and has clearly been well-loved throughout her life. She’s looking for a family to continue showering her with affection and help her stay healthy—she’d benefit from slimming down a bit. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion, Riley is ready to bring her warmth and sweetness into your home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.December 15, 2024, 6:04 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   Rambler is a Beagle/Lab/Terrier mix (we are guessing!) Who is oh so sweet and good natured. Rambler came to us from a background of hardship. We don't know the full story but was told part of one of his ears was shot off? Was he a stray in a rural area and was shot at? We are not sure, but he came to rescue pretty meek and frightened of humans.  He also came to rescue with heartworm. He was successfully treated for that and has been diligently kept on Heartguard (Tri Heart Plus) since then.  He also has made HUGE progress since being in rescue. He is now more trusting and happy and open. He is crate trained, potty trained, walks well on a leash and loves to be with other dogs.  We are looking for a home for him with another dog (it helps his confidence) and a fenced in yard.  Rambler is one of those "heart dogs" that just get to you as you watch them embrace the kind of life they were meant to live.  Interested in adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website  here . If you are viewing this listing on PETFINDER there is often MORE INFO ON and MORE PICS OF the animal DIRECTLY ON OUR WEBSITE. http://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org *Adoption fees range from $525-$650, depending on the individual animal* redemptionroad.mn@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/RedemptionRoadRescue  All animals fully vetted appropriate for age: spayed/neutered, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccine, 4DX test (@12 months or older), microchipped with lifetime registration, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention.  *Since we typically don't know a rescue dog's actual genetics, their breed and estimated size when grown on their bio is just an educated guess based on information ond observations we have.*  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 13, 2024, 12:38 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.     Say hi to Lulu! Lulu was rescued from a shelter in Tennessee, the day she was to be euthanized - shelter workers said they knew her original owner and that they mistreated her. Lulu is approx 8 years old and around 30 lbs. She’s very friendly, good with other dogs, good with cats. She’s affectionate, sweet, and friendly. We would recommend older children (or no children) for her because she can get touchy about her face being messed with- she can snap in fear if she doesn’t like how her face/neck/upper body is approached, or it's too quick for her. Lulu went through heartworm treatment through our rescue and is now ready for her forever home!  Interested in adopting? Please complete an interest form on our website here.
