Story
The day after Christmas some Grinch dropped off these 5 beautiful babies at the Speedway gas station. They were only about 9-weeks old - barely able to be without their mamma, who was not with them. Two little girls and 3 little boys. ♥️ The wonderful people at the gas station took the box in from the cold and called around to find help. Of course, one of our fosters stepped right up! They have now been fully vetted. They have all their age appropriate vaccinations, have been spayed/neutered and microchipped and they are now ready to go to their forever homes! If you would like to add one of these babies, please respond by tapping the big black button marked " Ask About Me" and we will send you an application. These puppies are being fostered in TN but included in your adoption fee is transport to a location near you by Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

Story
Hi, I’m Toby! I’m a spirited and playful puppy who loves bringing joy and laughter wherever I go. I’ve got boundless energy and curiosity, so I’m always exploring and making new friends. My spunky personality keeps life exciting, whether I’m chasing a ball, playing in the yard, or just having fun with my favorite people. I absolutely adore cuddles and snuggles—there’s nothing better than curling up in a cozy lap or being close to someone I love. Kids, dogs, and pretty much everyone I meet are my favorite; I’m a social butterfly who can’t get enough of the company of others. Right now, I’m working hard on potty training. I’m eager to learn and love getting praise when I do something right. With my determination and smarts, I know I’ll master it in no time. I’m growing and learning every day, and I can’t wait to bring even more love and fun into the lives of my NEW family! Will that be you??? Toby is estimated to be 10 weeks old and 7 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. If you are interested in meeting this dog please complete the adoption application on our website at https://safehandsrescue.org/adoption-process/ and then we can contact you about setting up a meeting. Story
Billy is so incredibly sweet. He loves lots of pets and can’t get enough attention and cuddles. Although he is a little shy, he has quickly found a safe spot right next to his foster mom’s side. And each day, he is getting more and more comfortable in his foster home. As mom goes around doing all that she does, he has been picking up quickly along the way. Billy is playful, but probably more of the couch potato, cuddle, and love-me-up kind of dog. He has the softest eyes with the most lovable expressions. So far, it seems that Billy does well with other dogs. Likely, he will do best in a home with one smaller dog with a calmer demeanor. He would do well in a home where his mom or dad is home the vast majority of the time. Billy is not yet housetrained, but we are working on both potty training outside and using a potty pad inside. Billy is quite comfortable in his crate, and will go in as a source for comfort. However, we are still working on being totally comfortable through the night and when mom has to leave the house during the day. But even in a day’s time, we have made great strides! Billy is just so darn loving. He would make a truly wonderful life-long companion pup. Billy is estimated to be 5.5 months old and 18 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Story
Let me introduce myself! My name is Mason and I am an almost 2 yr old male Beagle mix. I am pretty amazing if I do say so myself! I came to Minnesota from Kentucky and found myself a nice warm foster home to live in with a dog friend, a cat who doesn’t want to be my friend, and a foster mom. I love playing with my dog friend, especially out in the yard. We wrestle and do zoomies together.  I am a very fast runner and I need to work off my energy with my zoomies. I need some serious leash training, but once I learn to be on a leash nicely, I would be a good running partner. I love to explore and my nose sometimes gets me in trouble with all the good smells, so my foster mom thinks I should have a fence in my new home. I am fully house-trained. While in the house I’m a pretty chill boy. I find a comfy spot and either take naps or lay and watch what’s going on in the house. Sometimes I even watch TV. There is one thing I dislike more than anything and that is a kennel! I get very high anxiety when I go in one and I have been known to tear apart a kennel when made to be in one. I am allowed to have free reign when when my foster mom goes away and I have never hurt anything in the house. I sleep in the bed with my foster mom and she says I am a great bed partner. If she asks me to move, I do and I don’t get off the bed until it’s time to get up. I get very excited when I see kids and can’t contain my excitement so I might not be the best companion for small kids as I might knock them down with my enthusiasm. I do like activity though so older kids would be great! As I said before there is a cat here and I really want to be friends, but she doesn’t. I would never try to hurt her, I just want to play. If she runs I chase, I figure that’s her wanting to play. I am very curious about what she is and I’ll keep trying to be friends with her, even when my foster mom tells me to leave the cat alone a few times a day. I try to be a really good boy all the time, but as we all know even the best of us have some quirks. Here are mine: I do like to do a little counter-surfing if there are good things within my reach. I’m slowly learning to stay down though. I am highly food and treat motivated so any food within my reach is not safe. I love to go on adventures in the car but I get car sick. I take some pills now before a car ride and they make my tummy feel so much better. When I went to the vet they said I have some dental issues so I will need to have yearly dental checkups. Because of these issues, I cannot chew on anything hard. I really am a sweet boy but I am very timid! I do not do well meeting new people. I try to hide and not even treats will bring me out of my shell. Once I get to know you we can be best friends though. It may take several meets for you to see my true, loving personality. My foster mom just had to be patient at first and it didn’t take long for me to trust her. I will be the same with you, be patient and gentle, and I’ll come around and soon be giving you lots of kisses. I hope you can look past these quirks and give me the chance to show you what a great addition I’d make to your family!  Thanks for reading about me!     Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Dental, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. He is very smart and crate trained, he is working on learning to use a signal when he needs to go outside and go pottyHe is a bit scared when he meets new people and is slow to warm up to them.  But once he does he is so snuggly and playful! He really is a happy guy. Sometimes he does not like to share what he values. We’ve been working on that. ( He does coome with a trainer )His best life will be with a quiet household he does require another confident dog in the home to help him overcome his social anxieties. Think of it like his own personal ESA. He’s good with older respectful kids and other dogs. Cats are unknown. While boarding is safe and playgroups can be fun it will never compare to a home. LET’S GET BRUNO OUT OF BOARDING AND INTO A HOME! Bruno would like an active home that will take him for fun Sniffaris. Bruno is a low key guy who would love a job even if that is being your best friend. Unfortunately, Bruno lost his previous home due to circumstances outside of his control. Bruno is a bit of a velcro dog who is pretty quiet for a hound. He does well with the older kids and in his previous home he used his kennel/crate as his safe space and the children were instructed to leave him alone when he retreats to his kennel.  While Bruno is not cat friendly he does do well with other dogs similar in size but would also be fine as an only dog. Story
Hi! My name is Estefania and I am from Missouri. From her foster: Estefania is quite a mouth full to say so we have been calling her Eden and she responds well to that. She is going to be such a fun dog with the right family. Right now she is learning what a house is and all the noises that happen in a house, like a garbage disposal and vacuum. While these things give her pause she is acclimating to them. She loves our resident dog and is most confident when he's around. The cats were very curious creatures to begin with which induced some "beagle barks" as the resident kid calls them. She now steers clear of them most of the time. Since she is a bit timid she would do best in a house with older, quieter kids. She allows the resident kids to pet her at bedtime but she tends to stay hidden when they are moving about or too loud. She loves to rearrange their stuffed animals around the house. She has a silly, playful streak that is starting to shine. When it's bedtime she prefers to be in bed with her adults because it's so cozy. The kennel is a scary place which we are working to overcome. She is currently working on potty training too. We take her out on a leash but she isn't a huge fan of being on a leash yet so having a fenced yard where she can take the lead would help speed up the process. She loves people but is still learning to trust. She is going to be an amazing companion with a little patience.

Story
Hello My Name is Jack, preferred last name WantToPlay but WantToWalk works too. I am from Arkansas. I am 100% beagle in personality. When I play, I play hard, I love to sniff around outside, I love to go for walks and sniff while I walk, I love to watch out the windows and I love to nap and cuddle. I’m a heavy sleeper at night and I’ve been told I have the cutest snore. I’m very much potty trained, but don’t get mad if I have some accidents in my new home. I am crate trained and really do like being in my crate to relax. I may complain a bit at first with my cute beagle bark maybe throw in an adorable whine, it’s just a little FOMO. I absolutely love food and will do almost anything for a treat. I know the words; No, Sit and Gentle. When I play, I like to fetch anything you throw and I’m pretty darn good at tug too. My foster home has two dogs about the same size as me and we’re pals, but they’re older and less energetic so I know I have to give them their space sometimes. I love sniffing the neighbor dogs that are bigger than me through the fence and I think they like me too. I try to get them to play with me. My foster home also has two kids, 11 and 17. I miss them, actually anyone, when they leave me even for a minute. I will protect the bathroom door for you, if I’m not allowed to come in. Above all, I get told I’m a good boy a lot and I am ready for a furever home. From the vet team: I arrived at The Bond Between with a skin condition and the medical team is currently figuring out a treatment plan for my skin. Luckily, my skin is making progress!

Story
Hi! My name is Cece and I am from Alabama. Hi, I’m Cece from Alabama. I just finished nursing my puppies and took time to relax after being a new mom. I was cuddly and slept a lot but now I am back to myself and ready to show my real colors. I am friendly, a little shy at first, and love being pet and follow my human everywhere. I must admit that I am a little stubborn and don’t always want to return home when told to. I just sit all of my 35 pounds on the ground and don’t move. My human thinks I need to work on this… My foster mom believes I am more a foxhound than a beagle. I was bred to run!!! So I would do well in an active family (I do well with children and other dogs too). I even like car rides. I outran my foster mom today on a walk, but she caught me trying to climb a tree chasing a squirrel. I saw him a mile away and took off!

Hi! I am Belle! Look at how cute I am! I was a momma in Alabama and am getting used to my new surroundings here in Minnesota. I might be shy at first with new people, but once I am comfortable, I love to cuddle and I have been told that I am a very sweet girl. I love going for walks and sniffing all the smells outside. I don’t like the crate yet, but my foster is helping me get used to it. I can’t wait to meet my new family and show them how amazing I am! --------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

While he may not ribbit- this boy can definitely hop! Frogger is a 1 year old beagle/Australian shepherd cross. He is cute as can be just as much fun!Frogger absolutely loves other dogs. He does great with dogs of all sizes and ages. He, obviously, prefers a wrestling buddy but is equals happy with a snuggle buddy! He is pretty indifferent to the cats in his foster home. He is good with the kids in his foster family. He is great in his crate and the house.Frogger is a really fun, active, and smart boy that needs a family that willing and able to keep his brain and his body active. He is a champion runner and is a great training companion. He also would make a phenomenal working dog- obedience, tracking, agility, rally - the possibilities are endless!Frogger is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. He has also tested negative for heartworm disease. His adoption fee is $450.00 plus sales tax. Please submit an adoption application if you would like to meet this fun guy!
