Velvet is a very happy, sweet and smart girl. Very eager to learn and please. She sleeps on her bed at night, loves walks, car rides. She knows how to use a doggie door and stay by herself. I work long hours and can’t give her the enough attention she deserves. She needs daily walk and play time. She doesn’t have any allergies or food allergies. Meet Keeley Jones! Keeley is a sweet cuddle bug who LOVES her people and dog friends. We're going to have a tough time giving her up, but she is just too enthusiastic about our cats. Keeley weighs around 30 lbs. but still fancies herself a lap dog. She's around 1-2 years of age and is a medium energy pup who loves walks and chasing sticks in the back yard. She knows "sit" and is good on a leash once she remembers to recall for treats. She sleeps through the night and is potty and crate trained, though we haven't used a crate. Keeley does take a minute to warm up to some men. Sitting on the floor with treats and going slowly helps with that. Keeley (formerly Felicity) is a tv star via FOX 5 Atlanta's Pet of the Day, but she doesn't let that go to her head. Check Google to see this cutie in action. When we picked Keeley up at Lifeline, she was greeted by and loved on by every staff member we passed when leaving. They kept her crate in their office for easy snuggle access.

The sweetest senior beagle ever is looking for a family he can love on during his golden years! Chester was picked up as a stray at about 12 years old but it was clear he was cared for at some point, and he is just so grateful to have a comfy bed again. He is extremely chill, and settled peacefully into a household with multiple dogs of varying ages and personalities. He loves naps, tushy scratches, ear rubs and leisurely strolls. With his age does come some mobility issues – although he can navigate textured stairs, he would be best suited to a household where he did not have to do a lot of climbing. And he does have an “old man bladder” so needs consistent potty breaks. We’ll be honest with you, this will likely not be a long-term commitment on the part of an adopter. But he has been fully vetted – he had a dental as well as bloodwork and does not have any chronic conditions. Chester brings his foster family such love and joy, and it is impossible not to look into that sweet face and just want to love on him for whatever time he has left. Skips is a five year old beagle with the traditional loud beagle howl. He follows his nose everywhere and so he would be best placed in a house with a yard. He does tend to be fearful and timid, but can be won over with lots of treats. Once you've earned his trust you can look forward to the best of cuddles. We're really looking to place Skips and Marty (the husky in the picture) together in the same home, but if we have to split them up, Skips would be best placed in a home with another smaller dog. It may take time to adjust, so we're looking for something transitional where we don't just drop him off and say goodbye. We truly want him to grow and love his new family. So if it takes a few weeks that's ok! ❗Current location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ Say hi to OhGong👋 a sweet, friendly boy with a charming black muzzle! He was found on the street in South Korea at 3 months old and taken to a high-risk city shelter along with his five other siblings. Luckily, they were rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and started living with other dogs in the local shelter. Despite some time spent at the shelter, Ohgong was given a chance to live in his current foster home in June 2023. His current foster family has been taking good care of him since, and Ohgong has learned how to harmoniously live with people with love, and now he is ready to find his forever home😊 • Personality: Friendly, Sweet, Gentle Just like when OhGong was widely known for his super friendly personality among the shelter staff, he continued to be very loving and sweet to his foster family. He loves to kiss you and be petted by you. His energy level is medium. He is usually calm at home but becomes active when playing with toys! Plus, he is such a gentle walker. • Affinity with - Dogs: Very dog-friendly! He doesn’t even bark towards other dogs. - Cats: He tends to chase cats out of curiosity but doesn’t show aggression. - Adults/Kids: Good with people in general but a little bit shy around male adults / Okay with kids. He is rather indifferent to them. • Housetrained: Fully housebroken, going potty outdoors as well as using pee-pads indoors • Walking Manners: Super well-mannered! Pacing with his person without pulling the leash. He responds to “Let’s go” while sniffing around. • Bathing/Brushing: Tolerates both very well. • Separation Anxiety: None. He showed some signs of separation anxiety at the beginning of foster, but not anymore when two months of foster passed. He spends most of his time sleeping while he is left alone at home. • Barks/Howls: Almost none. Just a little bit of barking only when greeting his family at home. • Car Rides: Very comfortable with car rides. • Appetite/Food Allergies: No allergies. • Likes/Dislikes: OhGong LOOOVES playing with toys, especially squeaky ones! All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. Senior dogs receive extra bloodwork and we try to do dental cleanings on any dogs that need them. Most of the dogs in our care are crate-trained and cat tested. We test with kids when we can. Our process can seem involved and long - we appreciate your patience. Adopting a dog is not like buying a candy bar in the checkout lane; it should never be a last-minute decision or one that is not fully thought out. Bubba is medium size senior beagle. He is 14yrs old, but still has a lot of love to give. Bubba came to us as a home surrender after his person passed away. He loves to hang out in the back yard and soak up the sun, but then come inside and cozy up with the humans. Like what you see? Fill out our online application!
