Story
Meet Bagel! Sweet beagle boy Bagel was found wandering on his own in rural North Georgia. We can't know for sure what led to this sweet boy being on his own in the country, but our best guess is he was possibly dumped for flunking out of hunting duties. Sadly we see that often and knowing this boy's loving disposition, he wouldn't make much of a hunter! We are estimating Bagel is about a year and a half old. He's great with other dogs and just as sweet as can be. He's looking for an experienced beagle home to call his very own! Interested in adopting? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org ##2083844##

Story
My name is Copper Bleu! I'm an 8-year-old, beagle (DOB 09-04-2015) weighing in at 45 pounds and considered to be a bit overweight. Maybe we could start 2024 right by being healthy together? I'm a handsome beagle, if I do say so myself, with some beautiful brown eyes and a silly smile/or serious face that will melt your heart. I had a wonderful owner that asked Angels to help me find a new family due to my owner's declining health and financial hardship, it had nothing to do with me. It was very sad, but my foster family has taken great care of me.     Here's a little info: I know simple commands like sit and go outside. I'm pretty good on a leash even though my nose leads the way, I'm told that is the characteristic of a typical beagle. I enjoy roaming free in a fenced backyard, play with other dogs and love everyone I meet.    I am house-broken and crate trained (but not my favorite spot). I'm considered a "Velcro dog" who lives to be by your side. I would love for someone that is home a lot because I really need to know that everything is going to be ok. I'm not a fan of car rides, thunder or fireworks and take meds for anxiety when certain occasions arise. I'm honestly a homebody with my people and enjoy laying on the couch as close to my human(s) as possible. I'll even let you hold me like a baby to snuggle!    I truly love food, and treats are my favorite, next to getting all the attention. I am on a sensitive stomach, dog food and medication for hypothyroidism. I do bark when left alone, so apartment/townhomes/condos are probably not ideal for my forever home, most neighbors are not fans of my singing.     I would love to meet my new family soon - I've been waiting for you. If you would like to meet me, please submit an adoption application for me today! An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
Doxy is an eight year old, 17 pound, Beagle/Doxy mix. He was returned to AAU because his adopter was going into a senior living situation. He is a very sweet little dog. He does bark a lot, so he can not live in an apartment or condo. He is house trained, but he’s on Lasix (a fluid pill) for his heart condition. He can only be left for a few hours or so, depending on the time you gave the medication.    Speaking of his heart condition, Doxy does have rather advanced heart disease. He is on 2 other heart medications besides the Lasix. And I’ll add to his being left, that he has separation anxiety. He needs a home with another sweet dog. I would not crate him. I do have 2 personal dogs and I give them and Doxy the run of the house when I leave.    Doxy also has urinary crystals and must be on a special diet. Finally, he has Gallbladder disease for which he must take medication. Summing it up, he will be on a special diet and medication for the rest of his life. He would do best with a fenced yard because of his medication.   I know he sounds like a train wreck, but he’s a very good dog. He loves everyone and other dogs. He is not a fan of cats. Doxy is very attached to his people and smart! He picked up our routine quickly. He enjoys watching TV on the sofa.    Doxy is also a good watch dog. He spends much of his day “lounging”. He loves, loves, loves his evening leash walks. Honestly, you would never know he had any health issues when you meet him. I am retired and have a busy life. Doxy’s health issues have not interfered with my lifestyle. He has only added love to our household! Story
What a handsome little boy!  This is Yoda Hampton.  This little guy is very bonded to his sibling Trapper Hampton, who could be his twin. How wonderful if they could be adopted together as they are so bonded. They were rescued from a hoarding situation . They were well loved but received little socialization & training. Yoda is wary of strangers and skittish.   Once you gain Yoda's Hampton's trust he becomes a completely different pup. He loves to be held and to sit in your lap. He is very affectionate and loves attention. He answers to his name and goes into his crate on command. He likes being outdoors, running and playing and will do best with a fenced yard.. He especially likes playing with his toys and his brother Trapper Hampton. Yoda Hampton is learning to walk on a leash and will need additional training.. He does go potty outside ( usually LOL). Ask his foster for tips for his continued training.   With some trust building, training and patience, Yoda Hampton's   new forever family will be very lucky to have him as a member. They will get a lifetime of joy and love from this loving pup                          An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms    Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. Story
This sweet boy is Trapper Hampton. Trapper Hampton and his seven siblings were rescued from a crowded home situation. Although it was a bad situation, he and his siblings were well loved. Unfortunately, they were never properly socialized or received any real training. He is very skittish and afraid around strangers. He is going to need lots of love, attention and patience. He is very bonded to his brother Yoda & they could be twins. If they could be adopted together it would be wonderful .   Trapper is a very happy little boy. Once he gets to know you he is a whole different pup. He will hop into your lap and give lots of love. He will come to you when called and easily goes into his crate. He is almost completely house trained, but will occasionally have an accident - his foster can give you pointers on continuing his training.    Trapper Hampton loves his toys and playing with his brother Yoda. He also likes running around out side and really needs a fenced yard  He is very afraid of his leash and will need additional training.   His new forever family will be very lucky to have this special boy as a member . With love and devotion they will be rewarded with a lifetime of affection and joy. Story
My name is Albie Able, but you can call me Albie for short! I'm believed to be 6 years old with lots of love to give because I love all people, kids and other dogs. I'm a beagle on the bigger side weighing 50 pounds (I'm working on losing some weight).    I'm a pretty chill beagle that enjoys laying around, sunbathing on the deck and I sleep through the night next to my foster's bed. I'm very affectionate and loving, aim to please, very humble and would make the perfect family pet! I don't bark much, so I would be fine to live in a house, apartment, townhome or condo. The cutest thing I do for my foster is turn around three times before I eat.     I would love to meet a family soon that will want to adopt me and take me home with you. If you would like to meet me, please submit and adoption application for me today!
