Story
Skips is a five year old beagle with the traditional loud beagle howl. He follows his nose everywhere and so he would be best placed in a house with a yard. He does tend to be fearful and timid, but can be won over with lots of treats. Once you've earned his trust you can look forward to the best of cuddles. We're really looking to place Skips and Marty (the husky in the picture) together in the same home, but if we have to split them up, Skips would be best placed in a home with another smaller dog. It may take time to adjust, so we're looking for something transitional where we don't just drop him off and say goodbye. We truly want him to grow and love his new family. So if it takes a few weeks that's ok! We're also ok with an open adoption! haha Would love to see pics of him from time to time living his best life in his new home. ✔ Housetrained ✔ Knows commands "sit" "come" & "kennel up"

Story
Meet Keeley Jones! Keeley is a sweet cuddle bug who LOVES her people and dog friends. We're going to have a tough time giving her up, but she is just too enthusiastic about our cats. Keeley weighs around 30 lbs. but still fancies herself a lap dog. She's around 1-2 years of age and is a medium energy pup who loves walks and chasing sticks in the back yard. She knows "sit" and is good on a leash once she remembers to recall for treats. She sleeps through the night and is potty and crate trained, though we haven't used a crate. Keeley does take a minute to warm up to some men. Sitting on the floor with treats and going slowly helps with that. Keeley (formerly Felicity) is a tv star via FOX 5 Atlanta's Pet of the Day, but she doesn't let that go to her head. Check Google to see this cutie in action. When we picked Keeley up at Lifeline, she was greeted by and loved on by every staff member we passed when leaving. They kept her crate in their office for easy snuggle access.

Story
The sweetest senior beagle ever is looking for a family he can love on during his golden years! Chester was picked up as a stray at about 12 years old but it was clear he was cared for at some point, and he is just so grateful to have a comfy bed again. He is extremely chill, and settled peacefully into a household with multiple dogs of varying ages and personalities. He loves naps, tushy scratches, ear rubs and leisurely strolls. With his age does come some mobility issues – although he can navigate textured stairs, he would be best suited to a household where he did not have to do a lot of climbing. And he does have an “old man bladder” so needs consistent potty breaks. We’ll be honest with you, this will likely not be a long-term commitment on the part of an adopter. But he has been fully vetted – he had a dental as well as bloodwork and does not have any chronic conditions. Chester brings his foster family such love and joy, and it is impossible not to look into that sweet face and just want to love on him for whatever time he has left. Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! While we make our best guesses, we often don’t know what breeds our kiddos are made of. We cannot guarantee our guesses will always be right but CAN guarantee they are 100% good dogs! Our adoption fee is $350. **We only adopt to families in/around Atlanta, Ga (about a 1-2 hour perimeter)** If you are interested in any of our dogs, please visit https://releashatlanta.com/adoptable-dogs.php to either view more of their profile or to apply to adopt! Story
All our dogs are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. Senior dogs receive extra bloodwork and we try to do dental cleanings on any dogs that need them. Most of the dogs in our care are crate-trained and cat tested. We test with kids when we can. Our process can seem involved and long - we appreciate your patience. Adopting a dog is not like buying a candy bar in the checkout lane; it should never be a last-minute decision or one that is not fully thought out. Bubba is  medium size senior beagle.  He is 14yrs old, but still has a lot of love to give.  Bubba came to us as a home surrender after his person passed away. He loves to hang out in the back yard and soak up the sun, but then come inside and cozy up with the humans.  Like what you see? Fill out our online application! We work on a first received, first approved, first adopted basis. We definitely encourage people who are interested in adopting, even if they haven't found the right dog yet, to fill out an application. Our process can take as long as two weeks (we work day jobs!) so having an already approved application speeds things up considerably when you see a dog that catches your eye. Kevin is a tiny Bagel (basset & Beagle) approximately 10yrs old.  He is a laid back dude who loves to snuggle with the humans and stroll the yard.  He’ll be a great fit for someone looking for a calmer beagle to just hang out with. Like what you see? He’s lived in a home and is used to dog beds, leash walks, and the company of other dogs. Ziggy is an active boy, so while is is very easy to care for, he will need walks and playtime.  Ziggy has completed his heartworm treatment and is ready to be adopted.  Like what you see?
