LOOKING FOR A GREAT COMPANION: Approx. 6 months / Approx. 14 lbs. and growing Hi, I’m Nicole! I came from a situation where there were just too many dogs in a home, and we needed some help. Thankfully, Mostly Mutts was able to answer the call and now I’m in a great foster home getting lots of attention and learning a lot too! I’m ready to find my new home and start living a good life with a great family of my own! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I came in with other dogs and have met and liked dogs at a few local places that allow dogs, and I’ve done great with the Husky/Border Collie mix in my foster home who is quite a bit larger than me. I do have that "puppy playful" attitude with him, and he is very tolerant of me, so I’d love to have another playful dog in my new home to teach me the ropes and play with. / I’ve been playful with the very "dog friendly" kitty in my foster home and when she’s done playing with me, she just jumps up somewhere that I can’t go. So, if you have a very dog friendly kitty, let’s meet! / I liked the kids I’ve met with my foster family, ages 13 and around 5 years old and I seem drawn to kids when I’m on walks with my fosters, so if you have kids that will be gentle with me, let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I arrived scared and unsure, but those days are behind me! My foster says that I’m a VERY sweet and loving little girl. I’ll come up on your lap for cuddles and love, but I also like to lie in my dog bed or on the couch by myself when you’re in the same room. If you get up to go somewhere else in the home, I’ll be your sidekick as you’ll find me right behind you. I even like to stay pretty close to my people in the fenced backyard when we’re all out there together. I’m a great work companion for my foster mom as I rest comfortably in her office as she works. I need a stay/work from home family member or perhaps a few would be great as I cry and howl for long periods of time when left behind. Due to this, an apartment/condo type home would not be a good fit for me. / My energy level is usually 4 – 6 with some higher bursts when I’m zooming around the yard – after all, I’m still a puppy and I must zoom! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: So far, I have learned to ‘sit’ for treats and my leash manners have been good – I do enjoy walks too – hint hint. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog. / The crate and I do not get along! So far, anytime I’m in it I’ve made a big mess, so I’ll need lots of positive reinforcement training if you want to crate train me. In my foster home, I sleep in my foster’s bed, usually at the end of the bed next to the kitty cat. / My potty manners have been good in my foster home (except when I’m in a crate) on a good take-out schedule and I’m even going to the door now when I need to potty, so yay me! Help me learn your routine and keep me on a good schedule, and I think I’ll do great for you too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love people, young and old, other dogs, and just being with you! I also love going for walks, ear scratches, running around the yard and I enjoy outings, just not having to get there in a car, but hopefully I’ll get used to it soon. / I hate the crate and being left alone. I also shake when I’m in the car. I’m also sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun of having a younger pup as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.July 5, 2024, 9:04 pm
