Story
Pheobe is a sweet, loving, shy 2-3 year old beagle mix. Pheobe can be a little slow to warm up, but once she warms up, she is a total cuddle bug and just wants to be with you 24/7. She loves being curled up beside you on the couch, behind your neck, or even putting her head behind your back as you sit on the couch. If there is even the smallest of openings, Pheobe is gonna find it and make sure she can get close to you! She loves her people and she loves her rubs! Pheobe is the last baby from our grieving breeder project. She came to back in January and need time to decompress, come out of her shell a little, and just learn the basics of being a dog. In that time, we have learned that Pheobe absolutely LOVES bones- of any sort, natural raw hides, pig ears, cow ears, bully sticks- she loves to chew on things, but never in a destructive way.  Pheobe came to us completely untrained- even the concept of being in a house was pretty foreign to her. She has mastered crate training, is doing amazing on her house training, and is still working on leash training. She will need a patient person to continue to work with her on house and leash training by providing structure and routine along with frequent potty breaks and proper crate training. Adoption fee $300: Pheobe is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations. To fill out an application visit https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/33868/generic Once your application has been approved we will schedule a one on one meet and greet with the entire family, including your current dogs. ##1945104##

I just have two other pets and one of which has a large doctor bill already. So I cannot keep Frankie. He gets along wonderful with the neighborhood kids. Story
A SUPER SWEET & CUDDLY GIRL:  Approx. 8 years old / Approx. 21 lbs.     Hello – I’m Eden!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control after having some very hard luck.  I had been bitten by a snake and was recovering from that. I had skin issues, fur loss, and ear infections all due to neglect. I also had to have the tip of 1 toe amputated due to torn ligaments at the joint, dry eyes, and 2 fatty lipomas removed when I was spayed.  All that took time, but I have been a total trooper while Mosly Mutts and my wonderful foster tended to these needs and now I’m ready to find my new family and continue living the good life that Mostly Mutts has started for me - so exciting!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  There are dogs in my foster home, and we don’t really interact much.  I’ve been just fine with them but am not looking for a playmate.  I also met dogs at Mostly Mutts and had the same reaction. So, if you have a dog that sounds like a match for me, let’s meet. / I ignored the cat in the home I visited when first rescued, so if you have a dog-friendly (or dog-tolerant) kitty, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I’ve been around a gentle 3- and 14-year-old in my foster home and I do well with them.  I also met nice kids at Mostly Mutts that were around 10 years old, and did well with them, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me.      • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My foster describes me as super sweet, fun, friendly, cuddly, and loving!  I really want/need to be with a family member, so I need a work-from-home or stay-at-home family member to be happy!  I’ll be the best company you could ever ask for!  Though I am a beagle mix, I’m pretty quiet, but when I do talk to you (not bark or howl), I make funny little sounds like groans and cries, etc. while looking right at you – it’s like we’re really having a conversation. / My energy level is currently 3-5 but I think it will increase a little now that I’m starting to feel better. I’m having little bursts of energy which are adorable.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m working on ‘wait’ using my name for feeding times and ‘stay’ at doors as I want to go out the door with you. I’m sure you can teach me lots more. / I absolutely HATE being in any type of crate to the point that I’ve hurt myself when in them, so no crates for me! / My potty habits are great in my foster home!  They have a doggie door to a fenced yard, and I go out when I need to.  If the doggie door is locked, I’ll stand by the door for a moment but if no one lets me out I will go in the house.  If you don’t have a doggie door, my foster thinks I’ll do well on a good schedule.  • LIKES/DISLIKES: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE people and want to be with them all the time!   A true lap dog, I am super happy to be held and to cuddle up with you for a nice nap. I’m pretty much up for whatever you would like to do around the house so I can keep you company and spend time with you.  I’m starting to play with toys now too. / I don’t like being without people, and of course I hate the crate! I’m not a fan of human food which is actually good – but I do like a little American cheese.  Otherwise, I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, good care, and training.  • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.  I’ve come a long way on my road to recovery and my fur is growing in nicely now.  Mostly Mutts will be happy to go over the above-mentioned medical challenges that I came in with.  I am looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m in Kennesaw, Ga.  July 5, 2024, 9:04 pm

Story
LOOKING FOR A GREAT COMPANION:  Approx. 6 months / Approx. 14 lbs. and growing Hi, I’m Nicole!  I came from a situation where there were just too many dogs in a home, and we needed some help.  Thankfully, Mostly Mutts was able to answer the call and now I’m in a great foster home getting lots of attention and learning a lot too!  I’m ready to find my new home and start living a good life with a great family of my own!      • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I came in with other dogs and have met and liked dogs at a few local places that allow dogs, and I’ve done great with the Husky/Border Collie mix in my foster home who is quite a bit larger than me.  I do have that "puppy playful" attitude with him, and he is very tolerant of me, so I’d love to have another playful dog in my new home to teach me the ropes and play with. / I’ve been playful with the very "dog friendly" kitty in my foster home and when she’s done playing with me, she just jumps up somewhere that I can’t go.  So, if you have a very dog friendly kitty, let’s meet! / I liked the kids I’ve met with my foster family, ages 13 and around 5 years old and I seem drawn to kids when I’m on walks with my fosters, so if you have kids that will be gentle with me, let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I arrived scared and unsure, but those days are behind me!  My foster says that I’m a VERY sweet and loving little girl.  I’ll come up on your lap for cuddles and love, but I also like to lie in my dog bed or on the couch by myself when you’re in the same room.  If you get up to go somewhere else in the home, I’ll be your sidekick as you’ll find me right behind you.  I even like to stay pretty close to my people in the fenced backyard when we’re all out there together. I’m a great work companion for my foster mom as I rest comfortably in her office as she works. I need a stay/work from home family member or perhaps a few would be great as I cry and howl for long periods of time when left behind.  Due to this, an apartment/condo type home would not be a good fit for me. / My energy level is usually 4 – 6 with some higher bursts when I’m zooming around the yard – after all, I’m still a puppy and I must zoom!    • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  So far, I have learned to ‘sit’ for treats and my leash manners have been good – I do enjoy walks too – hint hint.  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog. / The crate and I do not get along!  So far, anytime I’m in it I’ve made a big mess, so I’ll need lots of positive reinforcement training if you want to crate train me.  In my foster home, I sleep in my foster’s bed, usually at the end of the bed next to the kitty cat. / My potty manners have been good in my foster home (except when I’m in a crate) on a good take-out schedule and I’m even going to the door now when I need to potty, so yay me!  Help me learn your routine and keep me on a good schedule, and I think I’ll  do great for you too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love people, young and old, other dogs, and just being with you!  I also love going for walks, ear scratches, running around the yard and I enjoy outings, just not having to get there in a car, but hopefully I’ll get used to it soon. / I hate the crate and being left alone.  I also shake when I’m in the car.  I’m also sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.     If you’re ready for the fun of having a younger pup as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.July 5, 2024, 9:04 pm
