Story
Meet Weaver, a sweet ~8 years young spayed female beagle/shepherd mix, weighing about 30 lbs! Weaver was seen being dumped out of a pick up truck at a car wash in east TN (sadly, dumping/abandoning dogs is very common in this area). She was dumped on a street called Weaver Pike, which is how she got her name. Fortunately for Weaver, she was taken into rescue and is now ready to find her furever home and put her past behind her! Weaver is a sweet, friendly girl who is good with other dogs, people, and kids. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats. From her foster: "Weaver is very sweet and gets along well with other dogs. She has low-medium energy and is a great size pup! She is amazing with house training and her tail never stops wagging!! Despite her hound heritage, she doesn't appear to be much of a barker. An easy girl!" She is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this darling gal today!  Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2251458##

Story
Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around 2 years old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. If you're interested in welcoming Bailey or any of our Funny Farm friends into your home, please visit funnyfarmpets.org to learn more about our Tennessee-based rescue, the adoption process, the comprehensive vetting procedures these pets undergo before they come to your home, and to submit an adoption application. The adoption fee for this pet is $325, and an additional $200 is required for transport. Currently located in a foster home in Tennessee, this pet will be transported to a northern location after the adoption process is finalized. For details on meeting locations and the transport process, please visit the transport tab at funnyfarmpets.org

Story
Please welcome the “Lethal Weapon” crew. Murtaugh, Riggs, Rianne, Lorna, Carrie and Trish were all born to Cricket the Beagle mix. A nice family found her living on her own and in the family way. She was also injured. They took her in and got her healthy and she thanked them by giving birth to the most dangerously adorable 6 pack. These babies were born the first week of December and will be fully vetted and ready to go to forever homes by the end of February. They are all so very loving and playful and with mom only being 33 pounds they should be a perfect medium size when fully grown. Mom is also a super friendly girl and they definitely have her personality. Any one of the pups will make a great addition to any home ready for some puppy love and energy. If you are interested in adopting please submit the application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog and we will email you after your application has been approved and put you in touch with the foster parent to ensure a perfect match as most of the dogs are in TN and won’t transport north until their adoption is finalized. And be sure to check out our public FB page at https://www.facebook.com/mcbfunnyfarmrescue/ to see pictures and live videos of our adoptable dogs and what we are doing every day to make a difference in the lives of these innocent animals while we work hard to find their forever homes. Thank you for choosing to adopt. Your decision saves lives! Adoption fee is $399 and if the pups has to be transported out of TN where it is currently fostered there will be an additional $200 transport fee.
