Silence is golden­—unless you have a Beagle. Then silence is very, very suspicious. Becca is a 4 year old beagle weighing 22 lbs. True to her breed- she is cute and cuddly with a side of mischief! Becca loves affection and being next to her person. She has not met a human that she didn’t love—big and small! Becca gets along well with other dogs and loves to play! She is a bit nervous of larger dogs when first meeting and will bark when they come near her but settles down quickly! Becca is okay with cats but will chase if they run. She has mastered her doggie manners, she is crate trained, leash trained and dog door trained. She does occasionally have an accident if not taken out on schedule. She doesn’t like to potty outside alone. And now for the side of mischief…Becca will need a very secure yard in her new home OR a home where she is leash walked at all times. When left to her own accord, the beagle in her takes over and she quickly digs out to see what mischief she can get into! She does not recall and for that reason, it is very important that she is not left unattended. But don’t we all need a little mischief in our lives after all?! 🐶 All of our animals are fully vetted which includes spay/neuter, up to date on vaccines, wormed, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, up to date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention and microchipped) prior to adoption. Hellooo! My name is Buzz! I was picked up by a nice deputy from Animal Control as me and all of my littermates ran loose in a housing project! We rode together to the shelter where we were given a big clean cage, big bowls of food, and we were safe and comfortable! Ahhhhhhh.....Well we have now reached then end of our stray hold and we were never claimed. Now we can all look for our "forever" homes. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I hvae been neutered. Living out in the open I developed a little fungal infection but I am on the mend with the meds and I have almost completed my treatment. I hope you will fill out that adoption application and send it in online. Then come meet me! FYI...While playing with my friends at the shelter I now have a broken growth plate. No surgery has been recommended. Just some cage rest for a few weeks then I will be good as new!!

Heeellloooo! I’m Glee and I bet you could see in my “purdy” picture I am a cute little beagle mix! I was found by a kind homeowner who found me on her property out in the county. She checked with her neighbors to see if anyone knew me, but no one did. So she loaded me up in her car and brought me to the shelter. After waiting my allotted time I am now ready for adoption. I am about three years old. I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. One little problem did show up on my health check up. I am heartworm positive, but I am not worried! I know the shelter already has my treatment set up and I will start it soon. So maybe you could foster me and then adopt me after I have completed treatment.
