Story
Hellooo! My name is Buzz! I was picked up by a nice deputy from Animal Control as me and all of my littermates ran loose in a housing project! We rode together to the shelter where we were given a big clean cage, big bowls of food, and we were safe and comfortable! Ahhhhhhh.....Well we have now reached then end of our stray hold and we were never claimed. Now we can all look for our "forever" homes. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I hvae been neutered. Living out in the open I developed a little fungal infection but I am on the mend with the meds and I have almost completed my treatment. I hope you will fill out that adoption application and send it in online. Then come meet me! FYI...While playing with my friends at the shelter I now have a broken growth plate. No surgery has been recommended. Just some cage rest for a few weeks then I will be good as new!!

Story
Helloooo! I’m Raylin! This sweet little beagle mix is looking for a home. I was picked up by Animal Control at an elementary school. I was following the kids and hoping to maybe get into some of the classrooms to “continue” my education! Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in class, so Animal Control was called! I have waited my allotted time and I was never claimed. The shelter got me ready for adoption by giving me all of my vaccinations, they tested me for heartworms and I am negative, I got a microchip, and I was neutered. After my “experience” in school, I think I could help the kids with their homework. YOu really need to come meet me in person! My pictures just don't do me justice!

Story
Please make sure to read the narrative below our pet's photos as you will find a description of our pet with all we know about them, our adoption fee info, and you will find the link to do our online Adoption Application which is the first step in our Adoption Process!     Please read ALL below where you will find answers about the pet, our adoption fees and how to do our adoption application!   Pet Description:  Harper is a two-year-old, female  Beagle mix, ~20 lbs.  She is a sweet gal but also very shy at first with strangers.  Sadly she started escaping their 4' chain link fence so came back to us for her safety, but we know she is good in a 6' privacy fence.  She is good in the house, good with adult cats, good with dogs her size or larger but plays far too rough with smaller dogs. No to young children as they seem to make her nervous so teens and older please.  She is crate trained, loves tummy rubs and toys.  Doesn't like going out in the rain.  Walks well on a leash.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more.  (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).   The first step is to our Adoption Application here:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .   IMPORTANT – we respond to your emailed applications and queries via email back to you.  Please make sure you have either added our email  (hselco@bellsouth.net)  to your contact list or that you routinely check your SPAM folder for our response just to be safe. If we do not receive a timely response we simply move on to another applicant.   To learn more about us, visit our Website at: http://www.elmorehumane.org;  Phone: (334) 567-3377 Fax: (334) 567-8774 E-mail: hselco@bellsouth.net May 7, 2025, 12:05 pm
