Story
Kita is a 3 year old female Beagle mix, who is ready to be your best cuddle buddy! Even though she is a little shy at first, once Kita knows you, she is ALL IN!  And this super sweet and gentle girl isn’t too big to be a lap dog, or at the least, to be snuggled up close beside you on the couch. Kita will follow your lead while on a leash, so any walks with her are pure pleasure. Plus, the look of joy on her face while out enjoying the sunshine together will make you smile too. Kita is easy going and laid back. Still, every once in a while, she likes to jog over for her favorite toy (or her favorite person). Once she knows you, this precious girl loves big… and we are sure you will feel the same way! All it takes is to meet Kita, and you are sure to fall completely in love with her. So don’t wait, Kita is just what you need to brighten your life! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.Carroll County Animal Shelter is located at 251 Automation Drive in Carrollton GA. Story
Female; 9-yr-old Beagle mix; 30 lbs. House trained. Hazel is a smart, healthy, spunky little girl. Low energy indoors; alert when outside. Gets along with other dogs & kids. Great at dog park & boarding. Enjoys pets & rubs; doesn't demand them. She LOVES car rides, head out the window; ears blowing in the wind! Needs a secure fence or on leash when outside. Generally, she is a low maintenance pup. Sometimes, it looks like there is not 1 brain cell left in that cute little head, but trust me; she is always focused on how to get you to do what she wants. She is generally more independent than a seeker of affection. She alerts when an animal/person is outside the house. She does become anxious during storms. She is on an inexpensive prescription medication that curbs her anxiety to a large degree when this happens. She prefers that her caregiver be home during these times; it comforts her. At all other times, she can be left at home unattended without incident.

Story
She is a good dog, we found her roaming in the woods and believe she had been dumped. We agreed to take her in to get her healthy, vaccinated and spayed. She is great with dogs cats and children. She does have severe separation anxiety that causes her to tear up bedding and being in a kennel can cause her more harm than good. We are hoping to find her a good home and family that has more time to offer her more freedom throughout the day than my wife and i can give her.

Story
We got Daisy with the help of my brother-in-law after finding her in their neighborhood website. It seems the previous family had problems with her but this was not disclosed to us. When we got Daisy, she was very skittish and afraid of people. She will not come to you even if you call her. She ran away when you approached her even if she's eating or drinking. In addition, at that time Daisy was not house trained. We did receive some medical records from previous owner. After a few months with us, Daisy is now house trained. She now comes when you call her and she's not skittish anymore. She plays with my 9yr old son and they play in the backyard regularly. You can even pet her while she's eating or drinking and she's fine, wags her tail. Medically, Daisy sees BanField in Peachtree City. Her shots are up to date. When traveling or when we are out of state, of the two times she stayed at dog hotels, we never received any complaints about her behavior with them.
