When Irish eyes are smiling, does that mean they are happy? Or maybe they had too many pints at the pub? My eyes are smiling, and I am a non drinker, just want to have full disclosure here! Even though my eyes were smiling in these pictures. I was desperate for help for my little one, Lewis. You see, he was dying...full of internal and external parasites he really had no fight left in him and I knew it as his mother... so I used my Irish eyes to get us saved. AND IT WORKED!! Our lives are do amazing now, Lewis is alive and well after some very intense care, and ADOPTED INTO AN AMAZING HOME!!! I am not ever producing more babies, so it is all good! Now I get my turn for love, comfort and safety and a FOREVER HOME!! I am an adorable girl, about 50# of low-rider basset/heeler-ness. I am great with other dogs and like to play keep away! I am ready when you are, do your stuff so we can ride off into the sunset, in air conditioning, of course! I'm still in that spongey stage of my life where I'm soaking up...everything! I come in at about 30lb and will be a pawsomely perfect mediumish size boy that should be just about fully growed up. Perfect for all your action packed adventures!!! I do have some anxiety that we've been working on (and I'm doing really good) but it would probably be best if I could have a family with another furry sibling and where my human(s) either worked from home or were retired. I do really well with people both tall and small and of course playing with the other foster pups is just the best thing next to milkbones!! AND I haven't even chased the resident kitty!! I'm already house and crate trained, and do well on and off leash. I have many features of a Lab but with the shorter legs of the Bassett so I really really love anything that involves water!!!
