Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Gwen, a sweet and playful Basset mix with a heart full of love! Born around December 5th, 2024, She and her seven siblings were heartbreakingly abandoned on a country road, left to fend for themselves with nothing but weeds and twigs for food. For a couple of days, they stuck together, hoping for a miracle. At first, only three were found, but soon after, the remaining five bravely emerged in search of help. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan rescued them, giving them the chance at a life filled with love and care. Despite her rough start, Gwen has blossomed into a friendly and well-socialized pup who loves to play with her toys and friends. She’s a smart girl too – at just 8 weeks old, she was already using a doggy door like a pro! As of March 6th, 2025, Gwen weighs 15.3 pounds, and she’s expected to reach around 35 pounds when fully grown. She’s a fun-loving companion who’s ready to find her forever home. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful pup to bring into your family, Gwen could be the perfect fit! To adopt Gwen, please visit www.adoggie4you.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Gotham is a big hunk of love.  This Basset Mix shares all the personality of the breed.  He is a laid back boy that just wants to play.   Gotham and his 7 siblings survived being abandoned on a country road, left to fend for themselves with nothing but weeds and twigs for food. For a couple of days, they stuck together, hoping for a miracle. At first, only three were found, but soon after, the remaining five bravely emerged in search of help. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan rescued them, giving them the chance at a life filled with love and care. Born around December 05, 2024, Gotham is a chunky monkey weighing in at 19 pounds on 03/06/25.  We suspect he is going to be around 40 pounds when fully grown.    Gotham is well socialized and eager to find a forever family who will cherish him. Like all young puppies, he will need patience, training, and lots of cuddles as he grows into the perfect companion. But this bunch of puppies are smart.  They were using the doggy door and keeping their room clean at 8 weeks.   If you're ready to give Gotham a loving home, you can apply today at www.adoggie4you.org. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet Ginger is back! This good girl hasn't had an easy life. We're pretty sure she spent the first 2 years of her life as a feral dog depending on trash or the kindness of people for food. Well she's far from feral now!She was adopted 2+ years as an only dog by a couple who loved her. They did their best to get her out of her shell but decided she wasn't living her best life so they returned her. Once back here around her Foster's pack she acted like a regular dog. She needs another dog to be with so they can show her the ropes. She loves nylabones and toys and afternoon naps. She is very happy when her foster momma comes home. She stands on her back legs and wiggles. Her best life would be in a fairly calm home with at least one other dog and no young kids. She can't wait to meet you!Ginger does have a treatable condition called Polycythemia Vera.  This is a condition that causes too high of a red blood cell count.  The treatment is blood letting every 6-8 weeks.  With this simple treatment, Ginger will lead a normal happy life.  If Ginger's adopter continue to use our veterinarian, there is a grant set up to pay for the treatment of her condition.Adoption Fee:  $200Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 28, 2024, 2:25 pm
