Story
This is SIMBA. He has an appt @ the Irving Animal Shelter (they euthanize) THIS WEDNESDAY at 1pm. His owners surrendered him to me after having him since he was a puppy bc no one is around enough to take proper care of him, and the children often let him out the front door, where he has nearly been hit by cars on multiple occasions. They had resorted to keeping him in the backyard but no one was paying attention to him. He is barely a year old and is up-to-date on his shots. He is extremely attentive and easily trained, and very loving and affectionate. Needs play time and people time. He is also crate trained and has a large wire crate, proper harness/leash. Doesn't hardly bark, isn't fearful but can be cautious with new people until he feels secure. Understands commands and is surprisingly obedient for a dog who hasn't been worked with much. Likes to play and cuddle. I took him but my dog is too stressed, so he is staying temporarily with a friend until WEDNESDAY02/05. 1 Y/O, 40lbs.

This handsome 1-year-old Basenji mix weighs in at 42 pounds of pure charm. Jake is a social butterfly, thriving in the company of both people and other dogs. He loves to play and interact with all kinds of pups, bringing energy and joy wherever he goes. His stunning looks are matched only by his sweet, friendly personality.
