Sadie was adopted from an animal shelter 6/8/2024. She is a very sweet girl and loves to go to the dog park to run and play with the other dogs. She is a little skittish until she gets to know you but then she just wants to be with her human. She seems to be pretty smart and I think she is very trainable. She uses a doggie door at home to go outside and likes to lay in the sun or just sit at my feet. BUT you need to know - if there is a storm or heavy rain she gets scared and potties in the house. At least it is almost always in the same place if that's any consulation. I have two dogs, Sadie and Hank. They both sleep with me at nap time or bedtime but are not allowed on other furniture. I love them very much but I need to go into an assisted living situation. I'll be happy to answer any questions you have about them. I just want to find them a good home. Thank you

Check out this beauty!! 🩷 This is Addison 🩷 She is a 3 year old, Besenji/Carolina Dog Mix (best guess) who weighs 38 lbs. She is a gentle soul who has overcome a difficult start in life. This beautiful girl was found abandoned with her newborn puppies. All of her puppies have now found wonderful homes and it’s now Addison’s turn to find the forever family she truly deserves. Addison is a playful, affectionate, and incredibly loving dog. She’s the kind of dog who will happily greet you with a wagging tail and a big, warm heart. She adores people and is always eager to make new friends, both human and canine. Addison gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a doggie companion, though she’s just as content as the only pet if that’s what you’re looking for. Not only is Addison sweet and playful, but she’s also incredibly well-mannered and potty trained, making her a great addition to any home. Litterof puppies dumped in remote area. We were able to save 4 unfortunately 2 didnt make it. So sad barely weeks old trying to fend for themselves, while not even old enough to be away from mom. Thanks to kind people to stop and save them, and kind people to foster and nurse back to health in hopes we find them a happily ever after. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update. You can complete an application or view all the adoptable pets on our website at www.dallasdog.org/adopt. Upon receiving your application, please allow us 2-3 business days to review and process.

Reese’s has been with me since he was 9 weeks old. I adopted him from BARC. Unfortunately, there have been some major changes to my life and I am unable to provide him the care he deserves. He is a 7 year old Basenji mix, so most days with him are quiet. He has A LOT of energy and needs to be in a home where he can have consistent exercise. He loves to nap on the couch with you and loves anything peanut butter flavored. Reese’s has been a joy, and I hate to let him go, but he deserves a place where he can get attention.
