Chauncey is a beautiful black and tan longhair, he weighs 13 lbs and his favorite spot is on the bed. Chauncey is paralyzed. He went down in 2004, and has no bowl or bladder control. He has wheels, thanks to Disabled Dachshund Society, though he prefers not to use them. Chauncey came into rescue shortly after being paralyzed. Before he was hurt Chauncey was a Canadian show dog. Chauncey is very loving and sweet, and does not ever let his disability slow him down. All of the dogs coming through this rescue are spayed/neutered, have all shots up to date, and have a microchip implanted. The dogs also come with a collar with ID information. We run this rescue out of our home and welcome families to come out and visit with the dogs This rescue requires a pre & post placement home visits, a signed contract, and an adoption fee of $250.00
