Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rescued from an Idaho shelter where she was brought in as a stray and never claimed, we don’t know much about Baylee’s past – but who cares?...she has already put it behind her! Baylee rolled into rescue with a smile on her face and took her arrival into foster care right in stride. This sweet, agreeable social butterfly has never met a stranger, be it human or canine, and seems to be quite a well-adjusted, confident girl. She loves meeting and getting attention from people, adores a good cuddle, and she gets along with other dogs equally well. She’s very playful with her fellow canines, and although she can be a bit of a pesky puppy with her foster siblings to get them to play, she is overall pretty respectful of her elder dog buddies. Baylee is starting to discover toys, and although is at the chewing stage of life, is really good about playing with/chewing on appropriate toys. She shows a bit of herdyness when out on walks or skiing, but it’s not excessive. Cats are an unknown, but we think she could probably live with a dog savvy cat, and this level headed girl could also likely live with older kids as well. Baylee is a glass half full kinda girl who is up for anything you want to throw her way, be it walks, runs, hikes, skiing, or playing with her doggy friends. If there’s a pause in the action, Baylee loves to stand in between your legs, or walk through them – perhaps she’s a natural for freestyle? Overall, Baylee is a pretty high energy girl and will need a good chunk of vigorous exercise daily to be happiest and at her best.
With her crisp, classic markings and her little bobbed tail, Baylee is a flashy, tidy little package. Brains too? Oh dear, yes. Baylee’s a bright little kiddo, and she’s already picking up all kinds of new things in her foster home. She’s almost housetrained, and is quiet as a churchmouse in her crate. She walks well on a leash with an Easy Walk Harness. She’s also starting on the basics, and learns quickly. She is still just a pup, and will definitely need adopters willing to continue with her basic manners education, as well as set fair and consistent boundaries, to help her mature into the A #1 canine companion we are sure she can be!
This classic little girl is a lovely pup who is sure to bring years of delight to some lucky family. Baylee will be happiest in an active home where she is a full member of the family regularly showered with love and cuddles, and where there is another playful dog. Given her agreeable and level headed nature, she’s suitable to a lot of different kinds of situations. If you are looking for a young dog with a winning temperament, as well as all the brains, energy, and good looks of the breed, Baylee may be the girl for you!
Baylee is spayed, fully vaccinated and living in a loving foster home near Jackson, WY.
