My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Town and Country Veterinary Clinic has served as the River Oaks Animal Shelter for 10+ years, but with the growth of the city, another shelter had to be found due to our limited capacity. We will no longer be getting any new animals in to be put up for adoption, but we do have some of our animals from before the move up for adoption.

Betty has been in one of our adoption centers for the majority of her life. We have had her for about 7 months and she has been with Wilma the whole time. Betty is adventurous and likes to ambush her playmates. She loves to chase the laser light. We let them run around the clinic here with us, but they are usually so excited to get out of their kennel that they are more interested in exploring than in visiting with the customers, but as they get comfortable with their surroundings, they are becoming more interested in the people and their pets. She would make a good housemate to your current cats.

Our adoption fee is $149 for each and this includes the spay surgery, microchip (implantation, activation and first year of service), all the vaccines due at the time of adoption, a rabies vaccine, intestinal parasite check, dewormer, a Feline Infectious Diseases test, and first month of heartworm prevention and flea control (adopter will get one tube of feline Revolution).

We are a full service veterinary clinic and are more than happy to take care of the kitties for the duration of thier lives.

We are open every weekday from 8am-6pm and on Saturday from 8am-Noon.
