My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Rowdy, and I'm a little more outgoing - I take care of my girl Ruby!

We are a pair of sweet but very scared adult beagles looking for a home together. We will run away from people when they try to come close or catch us, but we would never ever bite: when you finally get a hold of us, we just lay down and try to make ourselves as small as possible. The people at the rescue have been able to feed us, put us on leashes and even give us baths with no trouble at all. We are starting to learn that people are nice and give us pettings and food. Sometimes we’ll even lick their hands!

We really need a home with people who are willing to work with us and teach us that life with humans can be a wonderful thing! The rescue keeps us safe and fed, and gives us love as much as they can, but we really need to be with people who can spend a lot of time working with us to teach us not to be so shy. Are you that person who is willing to give us a chance? We are still learning to trust people, so it’s really important that we get adopted together so that we have each other to help us not be so scared. Come and see us!
