My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Sasha. I am a Collie mix, possibly mixed with Retriever, or Shepherd. I was born 11/26/10 and came to Chances from an over-crowded shelter.

I injured my hip while playing at the shelter and underwent a Femoral Head Ostectomy (google it!). I have recovered very well from my surgery and love to play with the other dogs at my foster home. I am working on my potty training and manners.

My Foster Mom is still doing some therapy with me but the Vet said that I am ready to be adopted. The leg that I had surgery on may always be a little bit weaker, but I will live my life like a normal dog as long as I stay at a healthy weight. I will be able to run, jump and play just like a pup should!

Chances has collected almost half of the cost of my surgery from wonderful, generous donors. If you are able to help, please contact the shelter at 920/882-5020 or info@chancesanimalrescue.com.

I am in Foster Care, so If you would like to meet me, please contact info@chancesanimalrescue.com or 920/882-5020 to schedule a time.

Chances is a newly formed no-kill 100% volunteer, 501(c)3 non-profit Animal Rescue. Chances is dedicated to helping unwanted and abandoned animals facing euthanasia by giving them a chance at a new life.

*BREED DISCLOSURE: Due to the fact that most of our adoptable pets are strays, we can not guarantee their breed. We list the pets breed as the one that best matches the physical appearance, temperament, and personality of the animal-in some cases it's purely a guess. The pet may also be listed as a mix when it’s actually a purebred.

All donations go directly to the pets: to buy the food, supplies, medications and veterinary treatments for the homeless animals in our care. If you would like to be a part of the difference, Adopt, Donate, find out how else You Can Help, or contact info@chancesanimalrescue.com
for more information.
