Please review our adoptable animals before making an appointment to meet one of our dogs. The shelters do their best to have a posting of photos of dogs in foster and dogs temporarily away from the shelter. You may visit our shelter at 5473 Overpass Road, Goleta, CA Monday - Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m with adoption hours from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Our shelters are closed for lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Our volunteer adoption counselors or staff will be happy to show you any available dog for your consideration. We also welcome out of town or out of state adoptions. A dog adoption from the Santa Barbara Animal Shelter is $110 and includes a spay/neuter certificate, current vaccinations, rabies, health records, transition food, loaner items, goody bag, and a coupon for 4 free dog behavior training sessions which is funded by donations to K-9 PALS for the promotion of life-long homes for dogs. Dog license fees for your city or county are additional. We are committed to being a resource for you for the life of your pet.
