Tux and Boots are a playful, affectionate pair that were born in December 2023. These brothers have almost identical markings – you can only tell them apart by the fact one has yellow jewel toned eyes, and the other has green jewel toned eyes. They are also the best of friends so must be adopted together.
Tux is the more adventurous of the two, always leading the way for what area the brothers should explore next in their foster home. He is lively and continually ready to play with a catnip mouse toy or a feather wand.
Boots is the super cuddle bug of the pair, he always looks for the best spot to nap and loves to have his belly rubbed by his foster parent while he is there. Usually when Boots seeks out pets, that inspires Tux to join in on the cuddle pile.
To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat either virtually or in person in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
