This big fellow is Hendrix! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 3/23, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Hendrix as friendly, though a little shy at first. He warms up quickly with kind words and gentle pets. He is a little jumpy and barks in his kennel, but once outside he calms down. Someone must have loved him at one point because he knows several commands including sit, down, and stay. If you have experience with large breed dogs and Hendrix sounds like a good fit for you, please come meet him!

Hendrix is approximately 3 years old and weighs 74 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and has tested negative for heartworms. He is neutered and will be microchipped upon adoption. Hendrix is waiting in run 883; his ID # is 8915.
