My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Carin – A Calico with Cattitude! 🧡🤍🖤
Carin is a stunning calico girl with a personality as bold as her beautiful coat. She’s got a little spice, a little sass, and a lot of potential in the right home. While she’s still learning to trust people, Carin has a soft spot for cozy moments—if you’re lying down, she just might decide to grace you with her presence.
This independent lady needs a patient adopter who understands that love on her terms is still love. With time, trust, and the right approach, Carin has the potential to blossom into a wonderful companion. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, quirky kitty to work with and win over, Carin just might be the perfect match.
Carin is vaccinated, spayed, and healthy (fiv and felv negative)

More about this rescue

Meowsquad is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization started in 2019. Our goal is to reduce the large stray and feral cat population of New York City by using Trap Neuter Return (TNR) techniques as well as working with the community to find forever homes for cats and kittens that can be resocialized. We also aim to relocate those who cannot be returned into safe, working environments.
