My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org

Sistine - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life!

Hello hello all you fabulous people, let me introduce myself. My name is Sistine and I am a total sweetheart, a happy loving gal that is just wanting a home, a family...one to call my very own. And since you're reading this, I sure do hope you'll consider me to become a member of your family!!

My name comes from my one picture where I'm touching paws with my foster sister, It's my doggy version of the ceiling painted by Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel. Pretty cool, huh?!!

My absolute favorite thing in the world is being around people. Seriously, I'm a total people-pup! I love going everywhere with my humans, especially to dog-friendly bars and restaurants. I'm super well-behaved on a leash and love to go running with my human. I also adore playing fetch and could chase a ball all day long. Bonus points: I'm totally unfazed by other dogs barking at me – I'm just too busy enjoying life to be bothered. So you get ALL this, a super sweet, loving and people oriented pup, along with me being already house and crate trained, WOW what a bonanza!! I would even be a perfect addition for a first time pet parent!!

I'm around 5 years and 57lbs. I am that pawsomely perfect medium size for anything you've got up your sleeve (and you can always count on me to be game giving it a try). I love long walks, hiking nature trails, being your co-pilot on errand runs or just chillin on the couch. Oh oh, and getting belly rubs (one of my favoritest)!!!

I'm a well balanced social gal that does fantastic with people, both tall and small and I do get along with other pups but would do best with a more mellow submissive dog. I'm not the fondest of if they run right up and get in my space right away, so I'll need a slower introduction at first.

I have tons of love ready to be unleashed on my family and I'm big on personality, smart and inquisitive, affectionate and sweet. My oh my I have a boatload of great traits going on, oh and don't forget my stunningly gorgeous good looks, to make me a great family member, I just need the family...could it be with YOU?!!

If we could be that perfect fit please stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application.
