Up for adoption in Texas: Franklin is a beautiful, sweet lab mix with a good amount of energy weighing approximately 65 pounds. He is around 3-4 years old and loves taking long walks multiple times a day and playing outside. He gets a case of the zoomies almost every night before bedtime and loves playing with his Kong toy or chasing a ball around in the backyard.
We are still working on leash control with walks as he likes to pull, especially when he sees a squirrel to chase, but he’s made great strides since coming to his foster home. He is strong and does best on walks with a harness. He loves all the people he meets out on walks, too. He’s been a friendly guy!!
Franklin is not a big fan of being crated but is good with free roam of the house. He loves to be around his people at all times. He sleeps in his dog bed next to his foster mom but loves morning cuddles on her bed. He is a smart boy, is good with "sit" and taking treats, and likes to give lots of kisses!
Franklin would love a forever home that will allow him plenty of time to exercise throughout the day or play ball, give lots of belly rubs, and be with him for the majority of the day. It’s not necessary, but he would likely do well with someone active, maybe a runner or hiker.

Potential adopters must fill out an application and a Lucky Lab representative will follow up with both a phone and home interview. Our adoption fee includes all vaccinations, microchip, spay or neuter and a heart worm test and treatment for heart worm if needed.

The great news is our dogs come house trained, they learn to live in a home and household and they are all "vetted" vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
