My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy II was formerly part of an outdoor colony. Lucky for her, she’s friendly enough that now she’s taking her shot at indoor life after her colony lost their human caretakers. Daisy’s fellow ex-colony cat, Little Bit, is a lot more outgoing as well as a lot bigger. Little Bit is quite a hunk of feline these days. These two are not bonded, but they are already familiar with each other if you’re thinking of adopting a companion for Daisy
As a former colony cat, Daisy II is understandably a bit cautious of being caught in the open, even though she wants to play with all the new toys and sleep on all the soft warm surfaces. She is getting more comfortable and will hang out if she’s getting human attention. At least for now, she likes watching from small cozy spaces while Lil’ Bit makes the direct approach to ask for pets and treats.

Daisy II is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. As always, cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
