FLANNEL was found living in a barn with many other cats and he came into rescue along with his sibling (Fleece) and is now looking for his forever family. He’s had his first vaccine, a microchip, several doses of dewormer and been deemed a healthy boy by his vet. His neuter’s included in the adoption fee and it’s booked for January 28th and his adopter must be available to bring him to the clinic in Barrie for it. He’s definitely the more outgoing one of the two brothers and he follows his humans around and loves attention. He also loves to snuggle and turns into a purring machine when you pick him up to do so.
FLANNEL will run around and play with his brother and also chase the cat toys across the floor especially the fluffy ones. He’ll spend a lot of time playing with the cat toys that have a ball inside them that he can bat around and chase and he seems to really enjoy them. He does also enjoy lounging in the cat tree and will take the odd nap in it too.
FLANNEL is litter box trained and has used it since first coming into rescue. This little guy is the is adventurous and loves to run around and explore his surroundings and seek out all those nooks and crannies. He has several dogs in his foster home and one of them has really taken a shine to him and they’ll just stand there and sniff at each other and it almost looks like they’re having a smooch. We feel he’ll do well with a cat savvy dog as long as a slow, monitored introduction is made and the dog should be leashed at that time too. He would do well with another feline companion and one who’s energetic and can handle the busyness of a little guy like him. Children should be age 6 plus and be loving, caring and gentle towards animals.
If FLANNEL sounds like he’ll fit into your family then please put in an adoption application to meet him.
