We were contacted by multiple parties, including a Deputy Sheriff involved, about Lily because she was in desperate need of a reputable rescue. Her beloved mom’s dementia had progressed to the point where she was unable to care for her or herself 💔😢. We were full at the time but were able to help her because a new foster stepped up-THANK YOU!#fosteringsaveslives. We promised everyone that we would find this perfect girl the best home and that we will do!!💯🙌

🪷 Originally 22 lb now down to 17 (currently on a diet), 5 year old, Pekelier ( #pekingese/#cavalierkingcharlesspaniel)
🪷Extremely loving and cuddly. Loves to snuggle on laps. However, she needs a family that will also provide her with activity as she is on a much needed weight loss journey to lose a few pounds!
🪷 Very well behaved, housetrained, excellent on a leash, and friendly with everyone including dogs 🐶.
🪷All GDR pups are fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.

I am Deborah Charnin and have been rescuing on my own for many years with the help of some great friends. I was inspired by my mom who's maiden name was Green. Hence the name Green Dog Rescue. I also love the Green for many reasons including clean food, air, water etc. for the dogs that I rescue.They deserve the very best!
