Meet handsome Mr. Chocolate! He is the sweetest boy when he is around those he knows and especially when given food. He lived outdoors and was territorial. He loves his sisters, Bruna and Sprinty. He is elusive inside since he has been indoors as he is still adapting his new surroundings, but to whomever takes him, he will be the greatest companion. Although friendly with his sisters, he does not like other animals. He is used to being the boss and getting his way. Mr Chocolate would do well with older, cat-savvy children.

Mr. Chocolate is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and has been treated for parasites. His adoption fee is $125 or $200 as a pair with one of his sisters. Do you have the purrfect home for this sweet boy?

Interview

If your application is approved, one of our board members will contact you for a phone interview.

3.
Meet the Pet

During your phone interview, we will work on setting up a date/time for you to meet your new family member at the Petsmart in Troy.

Additional adoption info

* We do require adopters to be at least 21 years old.
* If you are leasing, we do ask that you provide a copy of your rental agreement showing that cats are allowed.
* We also ask that all adults living in the home agree with the adoption and addition of a feline friend to the family.
* For families with young children (under 6), kittens over 6 months are best.
* If the pet is to be alone for a significant amount of time, we ask that you consider adopting an older kitten or adult, or consider adopting two kittens to keep each other company. Young kittens are susceptible to social-depression if alone for a significant amount of time.
* We also discourage "gift" adoptions unless it is from a parent to a minor child.

Our adoption fee of $100 (cash/check) includes feline leukemia/FIV testing, deworming, flea preventative, microchip, and age-appropriate vaccines. All Tigerlily cats are thoroughly examined by a veterinarian. All cats and kittens are spayed/neutered prior to being available for adoption.
