My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say howdy to cowgirl! Cowgirl is a short haired bi-colored tabby. She was surrendered to a local veterinary office needing life saving surgery to remove a foreign body in her gi-tract! Cat crew was able to step in and pay for her surgery due to the continuous donations from our incredible community members. Luckily the surgery went well, and she’s healed amazingly! She practically is a dog trapped in a cats body! From her head tilts, to her zoomies she has a very dog-like personality. This girl is goofy, energetic, and very playful. She absolutely adores her people. When given the opportunity Cowgirl will flop down into your lap, especially when a soft blanket is involved. She tolerates being held by people who are gentle, but prefers to have her feet touching the ground. When she doesn’t want to be held she gently meows to be put back down. She enjoys making biscuits, playing with other kittens, showing off her ninja skills, and her best impression of a poofed up “Halloween cat”. She gets along with other cats, kittens and kids. She has not yet been exposed to dogs but with a slow proper introduction would likely do well with a k9 companion in the home. Cowgirl is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

Cowgirl was born last April.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers who are trying to make an impact on the feral cat and kitten population in our county. We are also expanding to rescue and foster puppies and dogs. We are foster based and run on donations and support of our community. Our rescued animals are carefully assessed and placed with an experienced foster. All our adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We also TNR and have barn cats available too.
