For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
Pewter is a young adult and is fine with other cats and dogs... he likes to be near them but does his own thing! He was brought into rescue at 3 months old (with his brother Sabre, also available to adopt) when his mother was killed. Pewter is fully vetted and ready to adopt to the right family. While he is sweet and affectionate with his foster family, he is painfully shy with new people and situations so he needs a quiet very patient understanding person that will work with him to come around. A calmer household would be best. He was adopted once and returned because he was too shy :( If you're that person that can give him time and patience to show his true personality please apply to adopt this gorgeous boy Pewter today!
All cats are neutered/spayed, FIV/FELV tested, up to date on vaccines and microchipped prior to adoption.

More about this rescue
We are a NJ nonprofit completely run by dedicated volunteers. We do everything possible to educate the public about the importance of neuter/spay, TNR to keep colonies under control, and find great homes for the adoptable pets in need. We work with our adopters after adoption to make sure both family members, human and furry, are happy and adjusted.
