My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Grizzly is about a 15 year old male. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and negative for FELV/FIV.

Grizzly lost his home along with his housemate when his previous owner passed away due to Covid and then the other family member caring for them was put into assisted living. He was very fearful after being uprooted from the only family and home he had ever known, but with time and patience he had really come around. He is a very sweet cat but wants attention on HIS terms.

More about this rescue

We are a foster-based nonprofit animal rescue organization based in northern NJ and founded by veterinary technicians who hold the belief that every animals deserves a safe place to call home. We focus on the overlooked, special needs, and senior cats and dogs who may have otherwise been deemed “damaged.”

Our mission is to advocate for animals by providing fulfillment of their physical, mental, and emotional needs and to provide public education to improve their quality of care throughout all life stages. We aim to build a community of responsible and educated pet owners and to improve relationships between members of the animal community including veterinary professionals, pet owners and individual animal advocacy groups. Our primary focus is dogs and cats in the tri-state area, though we strive to network with groups who work with all species in order to provide resources for those in need.
