Phoenix was turned over to DCC when she was found roaming the neighborhood with no obvious home. She is a very sweet cat that loves attention. She gets along with others, enjoys a canned food treat each day, and loves to play with her toys. She will be a wonderful addition to a home that is willing to give her lots of love & treat her as a member of the family.

More about this rescue

We are a rescue group on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that fosters cats and kittens in our homes until they are ready to be adopted. All our fosters are spayed or neutered, SNAP tested, given meds for fleas and parasites and have all shots that are age appropriate. We put our adoptable pets in Petsmart for the public to interact with and to fill out adoption paperwork. We are a nonprofit organization that operates with a staff of volunteers that manage the adoption center at Petsmart, staff shows and adoptathons throughout the year and take homeless cats and kittens into their homes until they are ready for adoption. We are totally dependent on grants and donations to cover our expenses for our foster cats.
