Ideal Home: Mama Feisty thrives as the only cat in the household. She has a protective and passionate nature that makes her the perfect companion for someone seeking a loyal and affectionate feline friend. She needs a home without other pets, where she can be the sole focus of your love and attention.

Current Situation: Unfortunately, Mama Feisty does not get along with my older cat, despite numerous attempts to help them coexist. It has reached a point where I have to alternate locking up my older cat and Mama Feisty for 12 hours each day, which isn't fair to either of them. Therefore, I urgently need to find Mama Feisty a new, loving home where she can be the only pet.

Additional adoption info

An approved application, vet reference, personal reference check and home visit are required to finalize an adoption. We suggest a $200 donation that helps offset some of our expenses such as feeding, boarding, training, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and miscellaneous veterinary costs.
Adoption fees are used to continue to help homeless animals in need!

We are a rescue that is dependent on volunteers as we do not have a physical building. We rent space at a kennel in Upperco, Md. If you would like to meet one of our dogs please contact us to make arrangements. Thanks!

Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is a nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and assisting animals in crisis. We actively combat animal cruelty in any form.

We have a particular commitment to pit bulls and aim to raise awareness about the breed, help those in need, and educate the public:
•We seek to promote this lovely yet unfairly maligned breed as the sweet, intelligent, affectionate, and people-oriented dogs they are.
