Additional adoption info

First we ask you lots if questions to try to find out if our pet is a good fit for you. We then email an application for you to email back; Next we set up a meet and greet to meet the pet. If everything seems like a good fit at that time we set up the home visit/delivery. If our pets seems happy, safe and fits in then we complete the adoption and let our pet stay for first over night and so on...if not a good fit by the end of one week the pet cones back and there is a refund of all but $35 of the adoption fee.

Go meet their pets

We have "meet and greets" by appointment after applications are filled out and we have corresponded enough to basically know if there is a good match. Also we have adoptions every weekend, mostly at various businesses in Norman, and sometimes at special events. We hold our Adoption Fairs in the afternoons on Saturday or Sunday,

More about this rescue

Blue HAWK (Helping Animals With Kindness) is a Non-Profit, No-Kill, volunteer run organization that nurtures homeless, abandoned, abused, pets back to health while finding reliable foster and/or "forever homes" for our babies.

Our goal is to save as many animals from being killed at city pounds or from some other fate of death or worse.

Our mission to help make our county No-Kill and then branch out through spaying and neutering and education about spaying and neutering.
