Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Willa but I like Willow better. I was a pet once but then left alone outside, I don't remember why. I spent at least a year outside on my own and probably got some frostbite on my ear tip this year when it got soooo cold. I am a little shy and guarded at first, but once you show me you will take care of me I am friendly, loving and playful. I am estimated to be about 3 years old. I had to care for a litter of kittens and now I'm ready for my forever family.
I am FiV+ but my foster Mum had gotten me healthy and I have managed to put on some weight. My new coat is coming in with healthy fur and she says it is really soft. FiV is easily managed with regular veterinary care and immune support supplements like lysine and Omega 3's. Mum mixes it into my food. I also have a pupil that stays fully dilated all the time, the vet does not know why. It does not seem to effect my vision, or if it does I am so adapted that it is not a problem.
Now that my kittens are grown I am not bothered by Mum's other cats and kittens. I have met kids a couple of times and while not overly fond, would warm up with the right kind of attention and play.
I have enjoyed my time with Mum and now ready to find my own furrever home with my own humans that will love and care for me. I have not been outside since being rescued so I do like to sit at the window and watch the birds and critters. I have adapted well to a collar and might like to learn walking on a leash and harness outside.
Mum says I am smart and very loving. She says I can sometimes be a little too demanding at times. I think that once I settle into my new home and get a routine, I won't feel the need to be so outspoken. I am pretty good at letting you know what I need or want, like fresh water or litterbox. So once we speak the same language we will get along great.
