My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I am Sage. I am a sweet and loving very Dachshund looking mixed breed girl. I'm 3 years old and 15 pounds. I am house trained and love cuddling and outdoor activity.
My best party trick is that I walk around on my hind legs when I am excited. Sometimes, for extra effect I flap my front legs. Humans melt.
I am very loving and do well with other dogs. I prefer no bossy girls, but really I can get along with anyone. In my foster home I loved to play and run with a smaller young dog. I have good off leash recall.
I come spayed, vaccinated, de-wormed, micro-chipped and on flea, tick and heartworm preventative. My adoption donation is $450.

A great home and my must haves include:
1. An owned or stable renter home with a fully fenced yard or enough land to teach me to stick around.
2. Folks who are not gone long hours. A stay at home person would be really nice.
3. Folks who will include me as a family member, take me on walks and include me in their fun activities.
