Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Coral!
Coral is an approx 1-3 yr old adult female (probably closer to 1-2 yrs old) who recently joined us after being seized by local humane law enforcement officers as part of a hoarding case. Emerald has lived with approx 140 (!!!) other dogs and is looking for a home where she can finally start to flourish and soak up some human affection. She is some sort of small breed mix and likely has some dachshund in her, among other things.
She is really starting to come out of her shell and is starting to initiate play with her new human friends, and it is so rewarding to see. However given her past she will still need a patient family willing to give her some time to bond with them, and learn how to exist in the world and see all the fun it can hold for her, as she still has lots to learn.
Coral is also still somewhat underweight and although she is starting to fill out she will need continued good quality food and being fed on a schedule. We cannot wait to see how beautiful she will be once she fully recovers from her past. She does well in a crate and is starting to learn about leashes and just how to be a dog. She will need work on housebreaking still.
Coral's adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations to date and microchipping. She will also be heartworm tested and is up to date on preventatives.
Please go to www.dogtownrescue.org and fill in an online adoption application for Coral, you won't regret adding this sweet girl to your family.
