Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Goober!
We often change the names of shelter dogs when they come to us, but sometimes they come to us with a name that suits them so well we just have to leave it as is. Goober is that dog!
He is happy, silly, playful and well, just a big goober!
Goobs is around 6 months old and currently 40ish lbs. He is some sort of medium build mix (maybe some border collie, aussie or other herding dog mixed with lab?). He loves playing with other dogs, is happy to make new human friends and is just an all around easy going dog.
Goober does well in a crate (with some barking if he knows you are nearby) and is working on his leash manners. He will need an adopter who understands the training, socialization and exercise needs of a young, energetic pup.
We think Goober could fit in with most families, but as always would set up a meet and greet with all family members, including resident dogs, to make sure it seems to be a good match. We do not have any history of Goober with cats, but could cat test him for an approved adopter.
Goober is neutered, vaccinated and will be microchipped. He is also up to date on preventatives.
