Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET MIDNIGHT!
This handsome man is named Midnight! He's around 10 years old and joined us from a local animal shelter where he had been adopted and returned a couple times over the years. Despite his medical needs, Midnight is an easy to care companion who is full of personality! We think he'd do well in just about any home.
Midnight was diagnosed with diabetes while in the shelter and receives twice daily insulin injections (breakfast and dinner). He's a pro at taking his shots and doesn't even flinch. Otherwise, he's a normal cat who loves to lay on the back of the couch while you're watching tv, will chase a toy around the living room every now and then, and will even come running to the door when you get home! Midnight is currently in foster care with two dogs who he is completely comfortable spending time with and we even sometimes catch him playing with! He's also living with another cat who he mostly ignores except that he doesn't like to share food bowls with so if he does live with another cat in his future home, it's best he be fed separately or that food bowls be picked up between feedings (no free-feeding/grazing).
Besides being diabetic, Midnight is in great health! His future family should feel comfortable giving insulin injections (we'll show you how!) and plan to make sure he receives annual or semi-annual veterinary visits as insulin needs may change over time and need adjusting. He's also currently eating Hill's M/D which is formulated to help diabetic cats regulate blood glucose.
Midnight is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love! He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is also FIV/FeLV negative. Interested in adopting him? Visit www.cityofelderlylove.org to complete an online adoption questionnaire or email us at info@cityofelderlylove.org!
