Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You know what your life is lacking? This handsome pile of sexyass orange love, and current award winner for “BEST CAT EVER”. That’s right. Stand aside Itty Kitty Alums, Huck wins. He’s the best of the best, and this guy is ready to come to your house and look at you with his big eyes and quietly whisper - “Pet me. Pet me like your French girls”.
Huck has conquered mountains- overcome bullet wounds, dog bites, stomach issues, coat problems, and did it all smiling and purring. He is *exceptional* and he is going to rock your world. But for reals, Huck Sauce Duck Sauce (his current nickname) is fu%king amazing and needs a home that is as fantastic as he is.
Huck is FIV Positive. Does this mean he will die early and live a life full of illness? Nope. Not Huck. Though there is no cure for FIV, recent studies suggest that cats with FIV live average life spans. The primary mode of transmission for FIV is through bite wounds from an infected cat. Casual, non-aggressive contact, such as sharing water bowls or mutual grooming, and common play does not appear to be an efficient route of spreading the virus.
Huck is otherwise perfectly healthy, strong, and in great shape. Given a life of love, a great diet and annual check-ups at the vet, he will live a long and fruitful life as your new best friend.
Bringing home a new member of the family is an exciting time. Adopting with Itty Bitty City Kitties is different and unique method of adoption. We believe in what we call the - Fully Supported Adoption Model - Our animals are family when they are fosters with our organization. They are never caged (unless for medical reasons), and are cared for in our homes, socialized, played with, and loved. Animals are fully vetted, vaccinated and sterilized. When they go to their new home, we are available for any texts, calls or questions at any point. We make it our job to make sure your new family fits in puuurrfectly. Once an Itty Kitty, always an Itty Kitty.
Upon adoption we will provide you with their full vet record, as well as the Itty Kitty Kitten Starter Kit. The kit contains a three day supply of all the food they eat, litter materials (for transition at your home), their favorite toys, blankets, a cat carrier and an adoption photo.
