Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Juliet came into rescue with her Romeo. They were not well cared for, she only wanted them for breeding, and when Juliet never got pregnant, she was ready to dump them. Juliet was injured and went straight to the Vet and stayed there for a week. She had a collasped lung and 3 broken ribs. Of course, the woman did not know what happened to her! Juliet is so bonded to Romeo, that the Vet also kept him in the hospital, simply because he was such a comfort to her! We don't know if they are brother and sister, or just 2 little dogs in love with one another! Juliet is not as timid as Romeo, she loves attention, being rubbed, patted and cuddled. She LOVES treats! She is in a foster home (with Romeo) and she shares a room with 3 puppies, (not her's) and she does very well with them, tries to "mother" them! Juliet is approx. 3 yrs old and would do best in a quiet home with no small children (too much activity). We would prefer a dog-experienced owner (no first time dog owner) who would have to time to continue to help Juliet be less timid and shy. We would love to see them stay together. Juliet is completely healed from her injuries, up to date on all shots, spayed and housetrained. She is used to sleeping in a crate (door kept open) with a doggy bed. Juliet's adoption fee is $225, and the fee would be discounted if they were adopted together.
