My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kala is a beautiful boy who made his way to the United States and into his foster home when Stray Animal Foundation India sent him our way.

Kala was born on the streets of India with deformities in both of his front legs, though he has made excellent progress since he was taken in and gets around just fine on his bowed legs. He received his gorgeous prosthetics in March and is moving around with ease and style now.

He is very shy and doesn't like a lot of loud noise, but is very friendly with both people and dogs. He will simply need patience to help him through his skittish moments. His foster tells us that he gets very excited to go on walks, though the big wide world is still a bit daunting to him so he looks to the humans he trusts for safety. Kala is crate-trained and sees it as his safe space. He even enjoys the dog park as long as the big dogs leave him alone!
