Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ava is now at Humane Society of Jacksonville. I adopted Ava about 8 years ago from a local shelter drive. Despite all the barking dogs, loud crowds, unfamiliar setting and a long day at the giant adoption arena, she came out of a paper bag like it was no big deal and showed off her beautiful curled tail. She doesn't have to keep her tailed curled over, but she does most of the time. She has never met a stranger and loves to be petted. She will lay down at the feet of anyone who will give her attention for a belly rub and its a treat to pet her as her fur feels like satin. She is an expert explorer so you have to watch her around open doors. She would love a screened in porch to watch all the goings on outside. Ava does well around all people, cats and dogs. She is a true social butterfly!
She is pictured with my other cat, GG, who is about a year older; while they get along, they also squabble and don't spend much time together. I think they might be happier meeting new friends.
