Lily's story:
Lily, her mom, and her aunts, a total of 4 dogs were found chained together by a person who lives in the mountain alone. Lily's mom and her sisters were chained for 5 years, living with rainwater, rotten leftover food, and the person never let them run around. Sandy and the good samaritans negotiated with the person, and rescued Lily's aunts as the person refused to let Lily's mom go. They found their homes in Canada shortly after the rescue.
When Lily was a puppy, she got chained for a period of time as well, and then she escaped somehow around 5-month old. Even though she no longer was chained, she came back during dinner time (the good samaritans were taking care of the mom and feeding her at the person's property). The person tried numerous times in trying to poison her and chain her back; however, he failed all. In the end, she came into our kennel and let us take her away.
We took her to the hospital to do her examination. During the whole process, even though she was scared and stiff, she let the vets and nurses touch her and not showing any sign of anger or aggression toward people. Even though she was mistreated, she kept her faith in people.
Lily is looking for a forever home. If you're interested, we welcome you to PM or submit your application.
